Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot 🌈 sold a City of Chicago alley—land that had been acquired through eminent domain—to a couple on Drexel Boulevard 🌈. Today, that alley has been fenced off, cutting off access for residents of Drexel Tower II. As a result, residents are now forced to place their garbage cans in the front of the building, creating conditions they say have contributed to a growing rat infestation. Chicago Flips Red Responds to Mayor Brandon Johnson Mayor Brandon Johnson recently said President Donald Trump should “stop wasting billions on illegal wars abroad and instead respond to the calls of working families in Chicago.” Working families in Chicago have been calling for help for years. They’ve been asking for safer neighborhoods, affordable housing, stronger schools, economic opportunity, and accountability at every level of city government. Instead, many residents see homelessness increasing, decades-long waiting lists for public housing assistance, businesses struggling, property crime affecting communities, and young lives lost to violence. Chicago taxpayers deserve answers. We pay some of the highest taxes in the nation. Where is the return on that investment? In our opinion, Chicago’s ongoing crises including public safety, homelessness, housing affordability, education, and the financial impact of the migrant response require greater transparency and accountability. Chicago Flips Red believes federal authorities should thoroughly examine any credible allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, or other violations of federal law. Where warranted by the evidence, the appropriate federal agencies including the FBI, the IRS Criminal Investigation Division, and the U.S. Department of Justice should investigate. We also believe the federal government should evaluate what additional resources are necessary to help restore public safety and public confidence, consistent with the law. Since we’ve been in Rochester, MN, it seems like a specific group — mostly African immigrants — have taken over the majority of Uber and Lyft driving jobs. Today, while taking my mother (a Mayo Clinic patient) to her high blood pressure doctor, I requested an Uber to make a stop at Walgreens. The driver, named Obang, told me that Uber drivers don’t get paid when passengers add a stop — which I know isn’t true, because riders are charged extra for that. I calmly explained that drivers should unite and challenge that policy if they’re being shortchanged. In response, Obang told me to “shut up” and forced my mother and me out of his vehicle. That is completely unacceptable, especially given that we were simply trying to get to my mother’s medical appointment. Mayo Clinic — this happened while we were trying to access care for my mother. Uber — please look into driver “Obang,” who operates a Mazda CX-5 (MN plates JVY980). President Donald J. Trump U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement — there needs to be accountability and proper vetting. If individuals are here illegally or violating U.S. laws and regulations, that must be addressed. 🚨 COOK COUNTY GOT CAUGHT 🚨 A judge ruled Cook County ILLEGALLY misspent $243 MILLION in transportation taxes. That money was constitutionally required to fix: 🛣️ Roads 🌉 Bridges 🏗️ Infrastructure Instead, they used it to pad government budgets: • Sheriff • State’s Attorney • Circuit Court Clerk Their excuse? 🗣️ “We thought enforcing road rules counted.” The judge said: NO. While so many people from around the world have come to Chicago to witness the historic Obama Presidential Center during Juneteenth and Father’s Day weekend, here’s a fact about the Obama Presidential Center that many people may not know: May 2018 – The City of Chicago agreed to transfer control of approximately 19.3 acres of Jackson Park from the Chicago Park District and move forward with a use agreement for the Obama Presidential Center. September 20, 2018 – Mayor Rahm Emanuel introduced the ordinance that would grant the Obama Foundation a 99-year use agreement (often described as a lease) for $10. October 31, 2018 – The Chicago City Council unanimously approved the agreement, clearing the final major city hurdle. The deal granted the foundation a 99-year right to use the site for a one-time $10 fee. The question many residents continue to ask is why generations of Chicago residents are being pushed out. Critics argue that realtors, developers, and mortgage brokers are often driven by commissions, while some elected officials have ties to the real estate industry as well. One example frequently raised is Kari K. Steele, a Realtor, President of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.. Many residents believe the conversation should focus not only on development and investment, but also on displacement, affordability, and whether long-time communities are benefiting from the changes taking place around them. #ChicagoFlipsRed

History was made today in Chicago. The Chicago City Council budget meetings began today, December 15 2025 and only 20 aldermen showed up. That means no quorum. No business. And they understand the WORLD is watching. I attended “Fighting MAGA & the Far Right: From the Campus to the Streets” at Pilsen Community Books to observe and understand what is being organized under the banner of “defending ourselves.” What I witnessed was not a genuine discussion rooted in accountability or solutions for Americans. It was a coordinated echo chamber designed to manipulate emotion, suppress dissent, and normalize radical ideology. This is a cult structure. The language is intentionally vague, dissent is punished, and anyone who challenges the narrative is framed as immoral or dangerous. That is not activism — it is psychological conditioning. What we are up against is far deeper than a single event. This is the result of decades of corruption inside unions, academic institutions, and political organizations that no longer serve workers, students, or communities. This is not about left vs. right. 📢 Palatine High School Protest – February 25, 2026 Videos show students leaving Palatine High School, walking off campus, and blocking the major intersection at Rand & Dundee, disrupting traffic and allegedly damaging vehicles belonging to residents simply waiting at a stoplight. Palatine is in Cook County and the school has a resource officer on campus. Questions remain: • Were any arrests made? • Why were students allowed to leave school grounds and block a busy intersection? • Who is being held accountable for damage to private property? • Why was video of the incident removed from official pages? Chicago just created the first tax in America on social media users. Let that sink in. City Hall wants to charge companies like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and X based on how many Chicagoans are speaking, posting, and sharing online. Government taxing speech should alarm every American. The First Amendment was written to stop government from targeting publishers and controlling communication. Chicago doesn’t need new taxes — it needs leadership. Crime is up. Property taxes are crushing homeowners. Corruption is everywhere. And instead of fixing the real problems, City Hall is experimenting with unconstitutional taxes.
