Justice Rammaka Steven Mathopo, and all Constitutional Court (Constitutional Court) Justices made very useful and legally sound interventions in the Constitutional Court hearing today. We will await the judgement and the principle should be ALL affected political parties that have captured the lists on time should be allowed to participate in the 2026 Local Government Elections. It will be unconstitutional to grant relief to one organisation whilst excluding others. No elections should be decided through back door arrangements and technicalities. Let’s level the playing field and contest on the basis of merit. Mayibuye is more than ready for the 4th of November 2026 and will be amongst those who will win Municipalities outright. We know what we are doing and the mandate remains Jobs, Water and Service Delivery Now! Mayibuye iAfrika!

This protest action stands as the largest national protest action in South Africa since 1994. It has mobilised thousands of citizens across the country in a unified and determined call for the restoration of order, sovereignty and service delivery to South African nationals. Mayibuye always associates with the voices of the people of South Africa and will never join the conspiratorial and at times foolish mischaracterisation of the voices of the people done by both misguided and corrupt politicians.

Amilcar Carbral taught us that as genuine revolutionaries, we have the obligation to “Hide nothing from the masses of our people. Tell no lies. Expose lies whenever they are told. Mask no difficulties, mistakes, failures. Claim no easy victories”. We all have the obligation to expose Tender Criminals and Thugs who pose as revolutionaries. Mayibuye must and will restore the dignity of our people in all the municipalities we are going to win. The mandate remains Total Freedom and Emancipation Now! Mayibuye iAfrika!
