Justice Rammaka Steven Mathopo, and all Constitutional Court (Constitutional Court) Justices made very useful and legally sound interventions in the Constitutional Court hearing today. We will await the judgement and the principle should be ALL affected political parties that have captured the lists on time should be allowed to participate in the 2026 Local Government Elections. It will be unconstitutional to grant relief to one organisation whilst excluding others. No elections should be decided through back door arrangements and technicalities. Let’s level the playing field and contest on the basis of merit. Mayibuye is more than ready for the 4th of November 2026 and will be amongst those who will win Municipalities outright.
