This is beyond every limit. This is Ukraine. This is the kind of “culture” coming from Kyiv. And this is the man Brussels admires and the country they want to fast-track into the European Union. No one can threaten Hungary or its Prime Minister. No one can blackmail us just because we refuse to pay the price of Ukraine’s war and refuse to accept higher energy prices because of Ukraine. No matter how much Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський threatens, and no matter how closely he cooperates with Ursula von der Leyen and Manfred Weber, the political ally of the Tisza Party in Brussels, we will not allow them to drag Hungary into the war.

.Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський used Ukraine’s national holiday to threaten Hungary. We firmly reject the Ukrainian President’s intimidation. We regard sovereignty and territorial integrity as fundamental values of international politics. That is why we respect every country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and expect the same in return. In recent days Ukraine has carried out serious attacks against our energy supply. An attack on energy security is an attack on sovereignty. A war to which Hungary has nothing to do with can never justify violating our sovereignty. We call on Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський to stop threatening Hungary and to end the reckless attacks on our energy security!

Yes to Serbia’s EU membership. No to Ukraine’s EU membership. This is Hungary’s position.

Hungary’s gas and oil imports amount to 0.2% of Russia’s GDP. Is this war financing? Ridiculous.

After a brutal, religiously motivated terrorist attack on Christians in Syria, the EU remains silent. Brussels usually reacts within minutes when it comes to other parts of the world, like Ukraine. This double standard is outrageous, and the lack of condemnation is unacceptable.

A trilateral consultation with the Slovak and Ukrainian energy ministers was scheduled for today, but the Ukrainian side ultimately refused to take part. This comes after our Energy Ministry delegation spent three and a half days in Kyiv seeking dialogue. All meeting requests were rejected, and EU inspectors are also not being allowed to travel to the site. It is therefore clear that Ukraine is not restarting the Druzhba oil pipeline for purely political reasons, even though it is technically ready to operate.

Brussels turns a blind eye to Ukraine’s corrupt war mafia while the European Commission asks member states for another €100 billion. Instead of demanding financial clarity, they want to pour even more European taxpayer money into a system everyone knows is rotten. Scandalous.

When the Druzhba pipeline was bombed, together with Slovakia we turned to the European Commission for help as we were about to start using our strategic oil reserves. It took them 49 days (!!) to reply. That’s the kind of support we can expect from them.

Thank you, Donald J. Trump! Great to have the President of the United States as our ally.

With RePowerEU, our safe energy supply is being killed. They call it diversification, but in reality, it cuts one of our vital oil routes. European Commission completely ignores that this regulation destroys the energy security of EU Member States. Energy should not be about politics!
