BIGGEST WIN FOR INDIA’S HEALTH REVOLUTION! 🇮🇳 Imagine picking up a Coca-Cola and seeing “HIGH SUGAR” clearly on the front. Imagine picking up Lays and seeing “HIGH FAT” clearly on the front. Imagine picking up Maggi and seeing “HIGH SALT” before you decide to buy them. Now, you don’t need to imagine because FSSAI has proposed warning labels on Indian packaged foods. Companies will be asked to put a “high sugar”, “high salt”, “high fat” sign in a big red font in the front. A massive thank you to all the doctors and public health experts who have fought for this reform, especially Dr. Arun Gupta MD FIAP (Ped) and Dr.Sivaranjini My message to food companies is very simple. Improve your products before warning labels expose them. HEALTH REVOLUTION IS HERE!!!

Buy magnesium only after watching this video! Because the front of a magnesium supplement can be VERY misleading. You see “Magnesium Glycinate” in big letters while the product may also contain cheaper forms like magnesium hydroxide. And “1000 mg” or “2000 mg” doesn’t tell you how much magnesium you’re actually getting. For that, check the elemental magnesium. That’s why reading labels is important not only for food, but also for supplements. Abse Supplement Label Bhi Padega India! 🇮🇳

70% of Indians don’t get enough fibre. We talk about protein all the time, but fibre is the nutrient we often forget. And unlike protein, fibre doesn’t come from animal foods like chicken, fish, paneer, or milk. Fibre comes only from plant foods. Fibre helps with digestion, keeps you fuller for longer, and can help manage blood sugar spikes. So I created this Fibre Board as a simple reminder to add fibre-rich foods to your diet and consume 25-30g of fibre every day. Share this video and help me spread the Fibre Board Movement to every school, college, and office in India. Let’s Make India Healthy Again!

I compared Fanta sold in France with the one sold in India. French Fanta contains around 4 teaspoons of sugar. Indian Fanta contains around 10 teaspoons of sugar. French Fanta does not contain artificial colours. Indian Fanta contains artificial colours. French Fanta contains real oranges. Indian Fanta does not contain oranges and uses “orange flavours”. French Fanta contains around 69 calories. Indian Fanta contains around 168 calories. Same brand. Same drink. Completely different product. The question is simple: Why are healthier formulations possible abroad, but not in India? INDIANS DESERVE BETTER!

Millions of Mumbaikars trusted K Rustom for generations. I asked Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe why it was suspended. His team found unhygienic food handling, dirty clothes near food preparation areas, and rats on the premises. Things customers could never have seen from outside. Before buying a house, we inspect every corner. Before buying a car, we do a test drive. But before eating food that goes inside our body, we trust blindly. The next time you eat out, be more vigilant. The more aware consumers get, the higher the standards restaurants will have to meet. Because regulators can't be everywhere. But informed consumers can be. Let's Make India Healthy Again 🇮🇳

Bad news. Fake ORS ban has been paused by the Delhi high court. ORSL has been allowed to sell 180 crore of their stock first. ORSL sells at 45 rupees per pack, so basically they want to sell 4 crore (180/45) fake ORS packs. These fake products have up to 10 times more sugar than real ORS, and can be dangerous for kids suffering from diarrhea. I request all Indians to unite and support Dr.Sivaranjini in the fight against fake ORS. Please share this across all platforms so that we can put public pressure to not have any fake ORS sold. #ORS #FoodPharmer

I lab tested all major Indian paneer brands, the results are SHOCKING! Here’s what we found: - All the branded paneer (Amul, iD, Milky Mist etc) we tested passed; the labels were largely accurate. - Shockingly, all the roadside paneer and paneer from a dairy shop failed the test. They were selling analogue paneer, made from palm oil. In comparison with real paneer, analogue paneer has 50% less protein, almost no calcium, and negligible vitamin B12. India has milllions of street food vendors and dairies selling “paneer” so imagine how much fake paneer must be getting sold. These lab tests are very expensive, I have spent my own savings to run these lab tests, and I want to thank all of you for supporting this fight for honest food. Please share this video on paneer scams with your friends and family. Comment which category we must test next! Let’s Make India Healthy Again! - Food Pharmer

Big win! Lay's India to reduce palm oil usage! Last month, I made a video showcasing how Lay's India uses palm oil but Lay's USA does not use Palm oil! After a lot of public pressure, Lays India has set a public statement that they have begun the process to replace palm oil in their Lays! After Lays stops palm oil, it will also put pressure on all other brands like Bingo, Haldiram to potentially replace palm oil! This is a major victory for the health of all Indians! Let us all unite and keep fighting to make India healthy! #LabelPadhegaIndia

Sting Energy Gets a Legal Notice from FSSAI! Three years ago, I got a court case to take down my Sting Energy video. Now, FSSAI has issued a notice to Sting Energy for misleading claims. Sting energy carries warnings saying they're "not recommended for children." But ironically, children are among the biggest consumers. That's why I truly appreciate the Maharashtra FDA's decision to ban the sale of energy drinks within 500 metres of schools. I hope every state in India follows. Because at the end of the day, it's about the health of Indian children! And they deserve better. Label Padhega India….Tabhi Toh Swasth Banega India 🇮🇳

Shockingly, Maggi just launched a “double masala” version with 2 masala sachets in 1 pack. A regular maggi is already high in sodium, and I’m shocked to see Maggi launching a double sodium version. A double masala maggi has 1180mg of sodium. Adults should have maximum 2000mg sodium daily, and kids should have even lesser amount of sodium. But Indians consume roughly 4400mg sodium daily, more than TWICE the suggested amount. It is no-coincidence that India is soon becoming the heart-attack capital of the world, with many young Indians getting heart attacks. Maggi must rethink its decision to roll out a “double masala” as these products can be addictive for kids and dangerous for adults as well if consumed in excess! Share if you agree!

India is the diabetes capital of the world and heart-attacks are rising amongst the youth. Most Indians think we are getting sick because of eating at restaurants. But we eat at restaurants only around 6 times per month on average, which means we eat at home the remaining 84 meals per month (assuming we have 3 meals a day). Why are we increasingly falling sick in spite of eating at home? One of the reasons is because of the quality of our packaged food. According to studies, India's packaged food is the worst in the world. A study which analyzed 4 lakh products across the world found that Indian packaged food has the most sugar, salt, saturated fat and calories compared to other countries. (Source: George Institute for Global Health) This low quality packaged food is what most Indians eat at home. "Ghar pe khana" and "ghar ka khaana" are two very different things! Sirf ghar pe mat khaiye, ghar ka khana khaiye!
