24 years ago on this day in 2001, we lost Aaliyah and her crew after the filming of “Rock The Boat” in Abaco, Bahamas. Forever in our hearts, RIP 🕊️

Aaliyah’s 20th birthday on MTV for her special video countdown, mentioning that her 3rd album would be out in 1999. It was said that over 30 songs were lost during the “Are You That Somebody” era from a hard drive failure. Her next album would instead become her last in 2001.
