Hamilton’s move into Brooklands on Russell was genuinely mesmerising at Silverstone. It’s a massive shame he got battery’d out of Luffield and got re-passed by Russell - because that initial move was utterly outrageous. The wheel to wheel racing we’ve seen this year from him is 2007-esque, and hopefully the battery deployment can be levelled out into 27’ and 28’ to take it into full force. He’ll be unstoppable.
