I honestly thought this story was fake the first time I read it. In 2018, Paul Menchaca of Gilbert, Arizona, was arrested after investigators alleged he spent years pretending to have Down syndrome so he could hire female caregivers to bathe him, change his diapers, and provide other intimate personal care. According to police, the deception was convincing enough that multiple caregivers believed they were helping a vulnerable adult until one caregiver noticed things that didn't add up and contacted his parents, ultimately exposing the scheme. Imagine offering someone your kindness, patience, and care, only to discover you may have been unknowingly pulled into someone else's disturbing fantasy. That's the part of this story that is hardest to comprehend. Why do you think it took them so long to realize something wasn't right?

In 2017, 13-year-old Nicholas Kedrowitz was sentenced to 100 years in prison after being convicted of killing his two younger siblings. That’s one of those stories where your brain almost struggles to process every part of it at the same time. A crime this horrific… committed by someone still technically a child. Do you think cases involving minors should focus more on punishment or rehabilitation?

If there is a place in Texas that looks like it was borrowed from heaven for a little while... this might be it. The Upper Nueces River is one of the most breathtaking hidden treasures in the entire state. Crystal-clear spring water, towering limestone bluffs, ancient cypress trees, and scenery so beautiful it almost doesn't seem real. It's the kind of place that reminds you just how incredible Texas truly is. If you've been here, you already know. If you haven't... it deserves a spot at the very top of your bucket list. Hat tip to texas.explorer 🤠

You can keep your fancy restaurants and food trends. Nothing on earth hits like real Texas barbecue cooked low and slow over an open pit the size of a small country. This isn’t just food in Texas… it’s a religion. And nobody does it better. 🤠🔥

If barbecue had a cathedral, this would be it. The Salt Lick in Driftwood, Texas is home to one of the most iconic open-fire barbecue pits on Earth. Since 1967, brisket, ribs, and sausage have been slow-cooked over live flames in a setting that feels more like Texas history than a restaurant. Some people chase five-star restaurants. I'll take a seat next to an open pit full of smoke, fire, and barbecue. The best barbecue in the world is waiting in Driftwood, Texas. Would you make the trip? 🔥🥩🤠

Texas saw a salad and said, “Not at this table.” At The Big Texan in Amarillo, the steaks are so big they stick Texas flags in them like they just conquered the plate. Thick-cut beef. Open flame. Juices running everywhere. And home of the legendary 72-ounce steak challenge. This isn’t fine dining. This is Texas. Y’all finishing one of these?

Have you ever heard of the "Stairway to Heaven" hidden in Texas Hill Country? Tucked away in Wimberley sits Old Baldy, a limestone hill with 218 stone steps carved into the side of it. Step by step you climb through the trees, and when you finally reach the top, you're greeted with a breathtaking panoramic view stretching for miles. For years people have nicknamed it the "Stairway to Heaven," not because of the climb itself, but because of that moment at the top when everything opens up and you suddenly feel like you've found a place you never knew was there. Where's a place you've visited that you had no idea existed?

Just watched an advertisement for grown men wearing VR headsets while a machine strapped around their waist simulates intercourse so they can pretend they’re having a relationship with a women. Read that again slowly.👆 We have officially reached the point where some people would rather plug themselves into a fantasy than learn how to be intimate with an actual woman. The fact that this is being marketed as “innovation” is one of the bleakest things I’ve ever seen. How did this become normalized… and why are so many people acting like this isn’t completely dystopian?

Texas looked at a normal cinnamon roll and said “make it ridiculous.” At Bonnie's Donuts in League City, Texas, they serve giant cinnamon rolls that can weigh up to TEN POUNDS. 🤯 Just a massive wall of cinnamon, icing, sugar, and dough that looks more like a competitive eating challenge than breakfast. Absolute sugar-loaded perfection. What are you having for breakfast?

Just watched a public pool that looked like straight-up sewage. Brown water. Stuff floating you don’t even question anymore. People still swimming. I get limited options… But there’s no way this ends without consequences. Would you get in?
