When you see it, you can’t unsee it. No bus lane. 4 lanes for cars, 2 for parking, 2 for driving. Cars parked in the cycle lane. And some still blame bikes. Congestion costs London £3.85bn a year, yet we still prioritise parking over moving people.

In the UK, ~81% of all vehicles on the road are private cars. If in London the majority of private car journeys switched to other modes, there’d be far more space for commercial vehicles & people who genuinely need to drive. ~76% of traffic evaporated. You’re welcome 😉

Another grocery run & as it’s Sunday the painted bike lanes are out of action ☹️. I believe if there was segregated cycling infra along busier roads (like the A10) more ppl would feel safe making shorter journeys by bike leading to fewer cars on the road & less traffic! 🚲💚🚲
