A reimagining of the classic Three Lions crest of the England football team. This animated test piece explores the evolution of the design and demonstrates how it can work across a range of applications and without the 10 stupid rose things. Enjoy.

Some experiments created as a test piece. Combining Mixamo, C4D, Procreate and After Effects to bring 'Spiderverse on a budget' to some sports graphics. Fast renders, quick shot building and frenetic pace. #motiongraphics #aftereffects #procreate #nfl #football #SpiderVerse

Some NRL and Betfred Super League team concept art as part of an October project to sharpen up on some sports branding. First up the Sydney Roosters 🐓. Some fairly obvious local iconography! More of these every day till I run out of first grade #rugbyleague teams.

Final piece for our squat little racing cars. You can see some behind the scenes of the AE mask they run along and how it controls their direction and speed.

I’ve become slightly obsessed with the GAA. More specifically, the county crests. So, as a completely unsolicited design exercise, I’m reimagining them stripping each county back to what makes it distinctive and rebuilding it as a bold, modern sports mark. My mum’s from Cork, so this is completely legit. Don’t @ me. #GAA #GaelicGames #GAAFootball #Hurling #SportsDesign #LogoDesign #Branding #Ireland

A logo designed to replace the current Munster brand, drawing on more of its historic iconography while keeping the stag at the heart of the identity.

A rebranded Dublin GAA. Given the size of the county, feels like an excellent way to make a large number of foes at once. Original has castles, a ship, a raven, a book, fire, waves and what I think is a temu Comic Sans. So I’ve committed an act of vandalism and stripped it back. Same symbols. Same history. Just rebuilt as a bold, modern sports mark designed to work on a jersey, a phone screen, or from the back of the Hill. Come at me. #GAA #DublinGAA #ÁthCliath #Dublin #GaelicFootball #Hurling #SportsBranding #LogoDesign Joe Bosack

First up: Galway. I’ve stripped the crest back to its most distinctive elements - the Galway Hooker, the lion and the sea, and rebuilt them as a simpler, more integrated sports mark in order to make friends on the internet. Same history. Less heraldry. Fewer heraldries? 1 down. 31 to go. Always keen to know how Im a bad person for doing this, let me know in the comments. And remember, it’s OK, they definitely wont use this logo in real life. #Gaillimh #GalwayGAA

CORK 🔴⚪ The flimsy justification I have used for this project not being a hate crime against the Irish people. My mum’s whole family are from Cork, by which I mean a tiny village just east of Skibbereen famed for its many pubs and its elite rowers. The existing Cork crest has a lot going on, so this one was really about getting rid of most of it. Let me know how much baby you feel went with the bathwater here. #GAA #CorkGAA #Rebrand #LogoDesign #SportsBranding #Cork

I’m not usually prone to footballing outbursts, but days like these don’t come around very often. So, with England taking on Argentina in today’s World Cup semi-final, I spent a couple of hours putting together this rough little tribute to Jude Bellingham. Built in Cinema 4D, animated with Mixamo, finished in After Effects, and set to one of the greatest football songs never written… Hey Jude. Good luck, England. #ThreeLions #England #WorldCup #JudeBellingham #MotionDesign #Cinema4D #AfterEffects #SportsDesign #Animation #Football #MotionGraphics #Design

Five years ago I started learning box modelling. Somehow it turned into action figure line and a ridiculous love letter to the Golden Era of Wrestling. Some of the designs are now officially licensed Mat Maniacs action figures! Who was your favourite wrestler of the golden era?

We have compiled a collection of animation tests exploring tricks of the eye and optical illusions into a short film. Each shot draws loose inspiration from various artists and mathematicians. The renaissance of television title sequences has provided a wealth of great inspiration. We hope you enjoy Trompe l'oeil.
