I’ve become slightly obsessed with the GAA. More specifically, the county crests. So, as a completely unsolicited design exercise, I’m reimagining them stripping each county back to what makes it distinctive and rebuilding it as a bold, modern sports mark. My mum’s from Cork, so this is completely legit....

I went back to the Tijuana River in San Diego County. Raw sewage and toxic waste STILL flowing freely into our state from Mexico. Gavin Newsom has STILL not declared a state of emergency, as local leaders demand. It is completely unacceptable. As governor I WILL declare a state of emergency so we can bring an end to this scandal.

It was great to work with Daniel Webster and secure $7.5 million dollars in SAFER grants for Lake County Fire Rescue. These grants will go towards new hires and the training that makes them so good at their jobs. This is a huge win for the people of Lake County, and I’m glad we were able to deliver it!

So, I don't know which character it was that first made you get to know me, but the heart that loved that character ultimately reaches me. Humanoid robots are great, but I also want the moments where I’m the one doing the chores to be more fun. With Vision Pro I can upgrade my kitchen to feature a TV, my favorite apps, the recipe, a timer and more. It feels like a completely different experience baking or cooking like that, and suddenly I don’t mind doing the dishes anymore. This is the future, and I’m so ready for it when it comes.

U19 Development League The U19 Development League is a new initiative from Kilkenny GAA & it kicks off this Friday night, 22nd March, with teams from Dublin GAA, Official Offaly GAA, Wexford GAA & Kilkenny competing. The concept behind this League is to bridge the gap between inter county U17 & U20 and it’s restricted to players who have not played at U20 championship level. The Kilkenny panel comprises 31 players from 21 clubs, led by Mark Aylward & his team. We wish Mark, his team & the panel the very best in the weeks ahead. I’m disappointed in this.' 🎥🎤Ulster Unionist Party MLA and former party Leader Doug Beattie speaking to Chief Reporter James. 🚫It comes after the cancellation of a cross-community sports camp involving the GAA at North Down Cricket Club. 🏐North Down Cricket Club in Comber had planned to host the camp for children from all backgrounds, including participants from East Belfast GAA. Mr Beattie said he felt it was important to speak out for what is right. North Down Cricket Club said: “As reaction to the event grew, we felt the spirit of the camp was at risk of being lost. With regret — and out of respect for all involved — we chose not to proceed. But let’s be clear: openness is not a threat. Respect is not surrender. And our culture is not so fragile that it can’t be shared.”

We took ourselves along to the Clare GAA Centre of Excellence in Caherlohan on Monday night last to have a look in on night four of the 2026 Development Squad pre-trials . Over 180 budding Banner stars from across the county have been grouped into teams with brilliant club coaches over the past month playing small sided games with rules amended so each player can work on the speed of their hurling and get more touches . A fantastic schedule of games and only the start of an exciting journey for each and every one of them . Well done to all .

Nowlan park on what could only be described are a dire day for a hurling match. Cork has not won here in nine years. That was then and this is now though. Very impressive team performance. Nine changes to the starting line up! It’s early doors but this Cork team look more determined than ever. There is a real edge to them. They are playing like it’s for their lives. Each and every player knows training is the hardest game they face each week and no one is guaranteed his starting spot. I actually mean that. Ben is not afraid. He just wants to win. The only past he looks to is the past week to see whos in form. If it’s you you’re in. If it’s not you come back next week and change my mind. Love it! #gaa #hurling #cork #kilkenny #irishculture
