As promised, a review of Thailand penal codes. This will clarify Freen and S Do Not have the same case, and there is irregularity in the lady lawyer's wording. Also future reference. Many translations glossed over the "lawyer's" portion and just said "legal talk" and did not translate what the "lawyer" actually said. In this untampered video, she states the violation of "extortion, Section 338". That is not the right penal code. Extortion is Penal Code 337. Penal Code 338 refers to Blackmail. Are they getting extorted or blackmailed? Later, she cites Penal Code 397 for "violation of individual rights, threats, and nuisance". That Penal Code actually refers to 'bullying in public". When was Seng bullied in public? These codes DO NOT match the actual situation addressing the "fake video". If this was addressing the "fake video", Penal code 287 - Distribution of video; Penal Code 337 - Extortion; Penal Code 338 - Blackmail, Penal Code 326 -Defamation; Penal Code 328- Defamation by publication (cyber included); and Penal Code 423 - Slander/Libel would and should be enacted. One digit and one word makes a huge difference in a case. While Freen said she is going to fight this to the fullest of the law, the two penal code the lady lawyer used would not be effective. ESPECIALLY since Freen's videos/photos were cited as being recorded inside her domicile and BLACKMAIL.
