A name to keep an eye on for the #Yankees is Reds LHP Nick Lodolo. When comparing to MacKenzie Gore, Lodolo has a superior GB%, BB%, same yrs of control, same age & figures to cost less due to Gore’s strong K%. And while Gore provides a similar look as Fried & Rodon (all same arm angle 44-46 degrees), Lodolo is closer to Sale’s extreme arm angle (15 degrees). NYY could likely get more out of his K% given their track record of velo gains and Lodolo’s strong whiff and chase rates. Cincy’s SP depth is fantastic, while they are projected for the 5th lowest OF WAR in MLB. A trade around Dominguez/Jones makes sense.
