A source at Seattle Police Department has come forward to Fox13's Hana Kim that Mayor Katie Wilson LIED in her press conference today, about delaying the first public briefing 5hrs to allow Gov. Ferguson and Rep. Jayapal a photo opportunity. The source told Fox13 that "Officers wanted to hold the media briefing Sunday night to update the public," but that the Mayor's office told them to "wait for dignitaries to arrive." This matches right up with the now viral video of an SPD Public Information Officer telling KOMO's Jeremy Harris that they were "waiting for dignitaries to arrive..." You know, before telling the public whether there was still a shooter on the loose or not. As David Rose said so perfectly, "time to dig." "It looks like a zombie bite ... I can't believe she bit a piece of my face off." A downtown Seattle worker was on a break on a Friday afternoon, and was randomly attacked by a mentally disturbed individual. After screaming slurs, the attacker began physically assaulting the victim and bit a "chunk" out of the victim's forehead like a zombie from The Walking Dead. It happened just a couple blocks away from where another mentally disturbed individual blinded a 75 yr old woman with a 'spiked board', also a random attack. These attacks are shocking, but not surprising. Washington state has made the choice to leave violent, mentally ill individuals to walk the streets, and the results speak for themselves. Latest Seattle restaurant to close: Sam's Tavern in Capitol Hill. The owner cited labor costs as the number factor saying: “I believe that we should pay employees more, but I also think that there should be a tip credit. You're really making it challenging for operators to want to come back in and do anything in Seattle because there's not a lot of upside, and there's a lot more risk now with trying to do something.” Not sure he could not be any clearer than that.. "Perhaps the strongest rebuke from the business community since Mayor Wilson took office." Some of the dozens of local businesses who signed the letter demanding action on public safety from Katie Wilson and the Council: Seattle Mariners Nordstrom Alaska Airlines T-Mobile Microsoft Fred Hutch Costco Pemco Insurance PSE Kaiser Permanente Starbucks Virginia Mason Zillow Seattle Chamber of Commerce We are seeing a lot of criticism from folks online that these businesses supported the very people who are driving Seattle towards disaster. This criticism is totally fair and warranted, but should be followed with the caveat; this demand letter is real and does not sugar coat ANYTHING. Reading between the lines, it represents a major change in that these organizations are no longer afraid of retaliation, if they speak up. It needs to lead to a greater participation statewide, as well as more letters (with bite) to lawmakers that they are not afraid of cracking some eggs when insisting on sound policy. (And for goodness' sake; they need to not support the people causing the problems.) Hana Kim | FOX 13 Seattle 'Seattle corporations call on mayor to crack down on crime' Article:

Seattle’s new economic report shows a troubling trend: three‑quarters of Seattle’s payroll tax revenue now comes from just 10 companies, leaving the city heavily dependent on a shrinking group of large employers. Between 2013 and 2025, Seattle’s tax revenues jumped 172%, even as downtown lost 30,000 jobs and commercial property values fell 48%. That imbalance makes the city’s tax structure increasingly fragile - especially when a single employer relocating workers could erase $50 million in annual revenue. Meanwhile, Bellevue - without a comparable payroll tax - added jobs and saw commercial values rise 7%. The data is clear: tax policy shapes where employers invest, grow, and hire, and our region’s long‑term competitiveness depends on stability, predictability, and a tax system that doesn’t rely on a handful of companies to carry the load. The WA state auditor got into a heated argument with a journalist during an interview after refusing to take any sort of interest in flagged daycare fraud. From unDivided's Brandi Kruse: "Anybody should be able to watch that exchange and have some very serious concerns about whether the auditor's office even cares." So the whole daycare fraud situation is either (as Brandi Kruse puts it): Embarrassment over the failure to put any controls in place to protect taxpayer money. or Covering up the fraud because it links back to the Washington Democrats by way of support and political donations. Regardless of which one of those it is, what we do know is that the WA state Auditor deserves a vote of No Confidence. And after that exchange with the journalist... The Auditor's newly launched 'Division of Special Investigations' seems more like a way to keep the heat off, rather than looking into the fraud, waste, and abuse of millions of our tax dollars. Time to bring in the Feds. Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson bombed her interview with Fox 13's Hana Kim, at a recent civic event: ❌She refused to answer if she regrets calling for a boycott of Starbucks. ❌She refused to answer if she supports dissolving KCRHA after multiple follow up questions. ❌She refused to answer what her plan is for 12th and Jackson. ❌She blamed the drug and mental heath crisis on 'housing costs'. ❌She refused to respond to L.A. mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt's assertion that she would welcome drug addicts from California. ❌She refused to answer multiple questions on what it would take for her to put drug treatment first ❌She blamed the President of the United States for missing her promised goal of 500 tiny homes before the World Cup. ❌She refused to take responsibility for anything... Two good things to come out of this were; ✅The Seattle heavy audience letting her know exactly how they feel about her incompetence ✅The (correct) level to which the local media is going to hold Katie Wilson accountable while she remains mayor. In January 2025, the median price for a condo in Seattle was about $690k. One year later, that number has plummeted over 19% to $577k. The data doesn't lie; Seattle and Puget Sound's housing market is in serious trouble... And it is only going to get worse as companies run away from our bad policies, taking their workers with them. "The region gets to keep Amazon. Seattle doesn't." Amazon is pulling another 1,500 workers out of Seattle, as it abandons one of its original South Lake Union buildings it has leased since 2014. Why, you may ask? Charlie Harger answers that one directly: "...taxes, crime, and homelessness." And what do you think Amazon and others are going to do if Seattle's policies become Washington's policies?🤔 Charlie Harger, KIRO Newsradio | KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM🎙 Article:

Washington state taxpayers are on the hook for $8 BILLION with a capitol B, for new fish culverts to help increase the salmon population. Olympia has spent $15 Million on studies to tear down hydroelectric dams along the Snake River, to help salmon spawn farther upstream. Olympia Democrats have a bill to ban all tires sold in Washington state, because they contain the chemical 6PPD which might be killing salmon fry. So it is with great irony that Sound Transit's new I-90 Light Rail bridge over Lake Washington is killing salmon through stray electric currents. And on top of that, the stray currents may also be throwing off the magnetic navigation that salmon use to return to their spawning grounds every year. We would think Sound Transit would have studied the potential for lethal electrical currents coming off the Light Rail bridge, but their long term leadership and behaviors suggest we'd be wrong. A male substitute teacher who claims to be 'non-binary' was allowed into a girl's locker room at a Kitsap Central SD middle school. After an uproar by parents, the district made a statement that it was a 'no harm, no foul' mistake and that the locker room was "not in use at that time." Kids and parents say otherwise. Brandi Kruse interviews two of these parents, who are now looking at their options to pull their daughter out of public school. LEAD or Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion has been used in Seattle for years to help 'divert' drug addicts who commit non violent crimes into programs meant to help them. Activists have claimed the success rate was near 60%, and in turn the program has been replicated all over the country... Except the actual data says the success rate is "probably 0%". Fox 13's Hana Kim interviews Eric Zimmerman from the Washington Policy Center about what went wrong, and how it hurts both the addicts and society. Bonus, there is now a nationwide call for audits to find out how effective (or harmful) it really is. BREAKING: At today's press conference, Seattle Police Chief Barnes did NOT apologize to the journalist he got in the face of at the end of a press conference yesterday. When asked about it today, Chief Barnes replied and we quote; "I wouldn't describe it as a heated exchange." He then proceeded to blame it on "strong emotions." Not sure who Chief Barnes thinks he is kidding here, cause we all saw the videos of him getting right up in the face of Conner Nash, and having to be pulled away by his own staff. A King County Judge has released one of the most sexually violent prisoners in Washington state, into a quiet neighborhood in Enumclaw. Twice convicted rapist and convicted child molester Robert Lough was finally sentenced to 30 years after his 2nd rape conviction. He was so violent behind bars, that his initial 30 year prison sentence turned into 40 years. And he never got less awful. In 2023, he was found with a cell phone that contained "child exploitation videos" yet the state did not refer charges. (Had they, he might not have been released). And in 2025, he got in trouble for threatening prison guards. As if all that wasn't bad enough... Lough refused to complete Sex Offender treatment. Fox13's David Rose reports that, "experts for both the prosecution and the defense determined that, while Lough is predisposed to commit future violent acts, he is not considered to be sexually violent anymore." The forensic psychologist who examined Lough even said and we quote; "It would not be surprising if, upon release, he engaged in future acts of non-sexual violence." And yet, Washington state's "criminal first" law required this monster be released back into our community, no strings attached, no conditions, no promise that he won't victimize more people.
