A source at Seattle Police Department has come forward to Fox13's Hana Kim that Mayor Katie Wilson LIED in her press conference today, about delaying the first public briefing 5hrs to allow Gov. Ferguson and Rep. Jayapal a photo opportunity. The source told Fox13 that "Officers wanted to hold the media briefing Sunday night to update the public," but that the Mayor's office told them to "wait for dignitaries to arrive." This matches right up with the now viral video of an SPD Public Information Officer telling KOMO's Jeremy Harris that they were "waiting for dignitaries to arrive..." Washington state taxpayers are on the hook for $8 BILLION with a capitol B, for new fish culverts to help increase the salmon population. Olympia has spent $15 Million on studies to tear down hydroelectric dams along the Snake River, to help salmon spawn farther upstream. Olympia Democrats have a bill to ban all tires sold in Washington state, because they contain the chemical 6PPD which might be killing salmon fry. So it is with great irony that Sound Transit's new I-90 Light Rail bridge over Lake Washington is killing salmon through stray electric currents. And on top of that, the stray currents may also be throwing off the magnetic navigation that salmon use to return to their spawning grounds every year. We would think Sound Transit would have studied the potential for lethal electrical currents coming off the Light Rail bridge, but their long term leadership and behaviors suggest we'd be wrong. LEAD or Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion has been used in Seattle for years to help 'divert' drug addicts who commit non violent crimes into programs meant to help them. Activists have claimed the success rate was near 60%, and in turn the program has been replicated all over the country... Except the actual data says the success rate is "probably 0%". Fox 13's Hana Kim interviews Eric Zimmerman from the Washington Policy Center about what went wrong, and how it hurts both the addicts and society. The WA state auditor got into a heated argument with a journalist during an interview after refusing to take any sort of interest in flagged daycare fraud. From unDivided's Brandi Kruse: "Anybody should be able to watch that exchange and have some very serious concerns about whether the auditor's office even cares." So the whole daycare fraud situation is either (as Brandi Kruse puts it): Embarrassment over the failure to put any controls in place to protect taxpayer money. or Covering up the fraud because it links back to the Washington Democrats by way of support and political donations. Regardless of which one of those it is, what we do know is that the WA state Auditor deserves a vote of No Confidence. And after that exchange with the journalist... The Auditor's newly launched 'Division of Special Investigations' seems more like a way to keep the heat off, rather than looking into the fraud, waste, and abuse of millions of our tax dollars. The owner cited labor costs as the number factor saying: “I believe that we should pay employees more, but I also think that there should be a tip credit. After being caught by Journalist Melissa Santos from Axios, delaying the release of corrected climate data; Governor Ferguson's office decided it would be a good idea to respond aggressively towards the press saying: "The governor's office handled the release of this information in a responsible, transparent and accurate fashion. BREAKING: At today's press conference, Seattle Police Chief Barnes did NOT apologize to the journalist he got in the face of at the end of a press conference yesterday. When asked about it today, Chief Barnes replied and we quote; "I wouldn't describe it as a heated exchange." He then proceeded to blame it on "strong emotions." Not sure who Chief Barnes thinks he is kidding here, cause we all saw the videos of him getting right up in the face of Conner Nash, and having to be pulled away by his own staff. A King County Judge has released one of the most sexually violent prisoners in Washington state, into a quiet neighborhood in Enumclaw. Twice convicted rapist and convicted child molester Robert Lough was finally sentenced to 30 years after his 2nd rape conviction. He was so violent behind bars, that his initial 30 year prison sentence turned into 40 years. And he never got less awful. In 2023, he was found with a cell phone that contained "child exploitation videos" yet the state did not refer charges. (Had they, he might not have been released). And in 2025, he got in trouble for threatening prison guards. As if all that wasn't bad enough... Lough refused to complete Sex Offender treatment. Fox13's David Rose reports that, "experts for both the prosecution and the defense determined that, while Lough is predisposed to commit future violent acts, he is not considered to be sexually violent anymore." The forensic psychologist who examined Lough even said and we quote; "It would not be surprising if, upon release, he engaged in future acts of non-sexual violence." And yet, Washington state's "criminal first" law required this monster be released back into our community, no strings attached, no conditions, no promise that he won't victimize more people. A male substitute teacher who claims to be 'non-binary' was allowed into a girl's locker room at a Kitsap Central SD middle school. After an uproar by parents, the district made a statement that it was a 'no harm, no foul' mistake and that the locker room was "not in use at that time." Kids and parents say otherwise. It's official: Washington state is #1 in the United States for retail theft. And Governor Bob Ferguson vetoed a fix that was working. In 2025, the legislature earmarked $1 Million to King, Snohomish, and Spokane Counties to combat retail theft. King County used that money to hire a dedicated prosecutor, who filed 142 retail theft cases in 6 months, which is nearly triple than previously. When the funding needed to be renewed, the legislature earmarked another $500k to the program. Governor Bob Ferguson came in and line item vetoed it under the false guise of "budget constraints", while also increasing the budget to $80,000,000,000. That's right. Bob Ferguson signed a massive budget with BILLIONS in taxpayer giveaways to his friends and cronies, but couldn't spare half a million to make our lives better.
