Literally the process to sketching something like this, this is the extent to how I use 3D models in my process. Not including using Photoshop's liquify tool to shove shit around lol. Also excuse the body being already sketched lol, I randomly decided to record this thinking I'd record the whole thing but ended up streaming the majority of the process instead. Some people utilize them more with full backgrounds, literally making 3D models of their OCs so they draw them consistently, etc. If you are against 3D models or photos as reference(s), yes, tracing included, then baby girl, you are against artists. This is a legitimate tool and method.

Btw this is why I am NO LONGER supporting Nintendo, I will NOT get another console from them. This is the absolute shittiest business practice I have ever seen. 500$ for a console that you “don’t own” ? Yeah no. They can suck an egg. Get a Steamdeck.
