Wheels of Honour, Roads of Remembrance #GajrajCorps will flag off a seven-day, 950+ km Bike Ride — “Saddle Borne Warriors” — from Missamari to Chhetri Memorial at Tulung La, commemorating 50 years of the supreme sacrifice by four bravehearts of 5 Assam Rifles in 1975. They stood for us, now it’s our turn. 🇮🇳 Gajraj Corps - Indian Army organised an Ex-Servicemen Rally in Ghoramari, Assam, uniting 3,800+ veterans, Veer Naris, and families in a heartfelt tribute to their service and sacrifice. The event provided free medical aid, prosthetics, and a tri-scooter for a disabled soldier, facilitated 600+ job and resettlement opportunities, and set up SPARSH & Aadhaar desks to resolve pension issues. Experts guided veterans on farming, dairy, and fisheries, while volunteers donated blood as a mark of gratitude. Honouring veterans of the 1962, 1971 & Kargil wars, whose courage laid the foundation of our nation’s security.
