Jozini, KwaZulu-Natal: A badly decomposed body of an elderly woman was found inside her home in Jozini, KZN. It is suspected that the woman died approximately two months ago, but her son did not report her death to the authorities. Police were called to the scene and took the woman’s son into custody. However, he was later returned home after reportedly being assessed as mentally unstable. When asked why he had remained in the house with his mother’s body for such a long period, the man allegedly stated that his mother had told him she did not want to be buried after her death and that he was simply honouring her wishes. The woman’s family later arrived in an attempt to retrieve her identification documents and other necessary paperwork to make arrangements for her burial. However, her son reportedly ignored their efforts and continued cleaning the house as though nothing had happened. Members of the community have expressed concern about the potential health risks, as a foul smell continues to emanate from the house even after the body was removed. 💔 Videos by: Nkoskhona Wase Jozini Sibiya. Gugulethu, Cape Town: The lifeless body of a man was discovered in a yard in NY53, Gugulethu, this morning. The deceased man’s younger brother said he was woken up by another sibling, who told him that their brother had been found murdered. He immediately rushed to the scene. When he arrived, he noticed that everyone was there except his brother’s girlfriend, who lived just a few houses away from where the body was discovered. As he stood at the scene in shock, he noticed a small trail of blood leading out of the yard where his brother’s body was lying. He decided to follow the trail to see where it led. The trail took him to a nearby property where his brother’s girlfriend lived. When he arrived, he stood quietly next to a shack and allegedly heard a woman’s voice on the phone, seemingly confessing to what had happened. However, the woman apparently realized that she was being recorded and ended the call.
