The moment of one of today’s Russian strikes on Kyiv. I can see that fewer and fewer people are reading news from Ukraine. I understand that on a Sunday morning, people don’t want to read about war. They want to sleep a little longer, drink good coffee, and sit in the sun. I understand that. The algorithms on X limit content about war, destruction, and suffering. You have to make an effort to even see this information. All of this is understandable on a human level. But unfortunately, if you remove Putin and the war from your information feed, they do not disappear from reality. Putin is a sadist and a maniac. He is a threat to all of humanity. There needs to be active resistance. News from Ukraine needs to be shared. People need to keep their focus. Despite a sleepless night, I’m still here. And I’m grateful to everyone who continues to stand with us. One day, we’ll drink morning coffee together in a beautiful, peaceful Kyiv.

Russian propagandist Simonyan talks about the great sacred war that is not being fought against Ukraine. Take a listen. Putin and his inner circle have stopped talking about peace and negotiations and are raising the stakes. They speak of a "great and sacred war" against Europe and NATO. Why is this happening? It is a consequence of Russia’s failures on the Ukrainian front, where Russians are not advancing and are losing more and more soldiers - over 35,000 every month, more than they recruit - while Ukrainians are expanding the kill zone. It is the growing economic problems and the realization that Russia is heading toward collapse. It is the realization that everyone involved in the war will be punished after it ends, which means they cannot allow the war to end. Putin’s inner circle is aware of this dead-end situation. But Putin himself does not know the real picture, because people are afraid to tell him the truth. Therefore, Putin is convinced that he is winning the war. In addition, he sees that the United States is currently focused on the war in Iran and is no longer reacting to massive attacks on Ukraine and hybrid attacks in Europe. By the way, it is quite possible that the latest attack on Kyiv was organized personally for Putin - to give him the satisfaction of seeing Kyiv burning, especially after the humiliating May 9 parade in Moscow - but in reality, this attack achieved no military objectives and was a waste of millions. In this situation, with no real military successes in Ukraine, Putin’s inner circle, out of fear, may develop a desire to continue the war in a new direction - for example against the Baltic states - so that Putin stops asking about Donbas and Mala Tokmachka. The greater the defeat, the higher the stakes.

Ukrainian ambassador to the UN Andrii Melnyk: I'm not sure that I will have any appetite to visit Moscow. Even when Russia is defeated, even when and after Putin's regime has collapsed, even after Russia has paid war reparations, even when the next government in Russia were to beg on its kneels for an apology, even after all the Russian war criminals will be sentenced, there will be no reconciliation between Ukraine and Russia for decades, maybe for centuries. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte: Europe, with the UK and Turkey and Norway, is over 500 million people. We are facing an adversary in Russia of about 120 to 140 million people. Russian Duma (parliament) has approved the permission for Putin to use Russia's armed forces in foreign countries to "protect Russians" who are under arrest abroad. It took Duma just several minutes to approve this. Over 3,000 Russians are currently under arrest in various countries. Many have received sentences for cyber fraud, smuggling, espionage and money laundering. So now, Russia would be able to invade a foreign country to "defend its citizens."
