An Oakland man, just out of prison for kidnapping, shot an San Francisco Police officer as he tried to evade arrest. The suspect had a history of violence against women. He was driving a vehicle tied to an armed robbery. The moment that car entered the community, Flock alerted officers. A semi-automatic Glock and a P80 ghost gun were found in the car. With Flock, if someone does harm, a single public license plate image helps officers stop them from doing more. Our thoughts are with the officer and her family. Do more harm. I can’t imagine any other motive in this case. A suspect allegedly set four fires deliberately in the Pacific Palisades. Eighteen months into recovery. Thousands of families are still rebuilding. Flock helped stop him. I'm glad we could serve a community already carrying so much.
