Should the UK pay reparations for slavery? Jamaica is lodging a petition to King Charles today, seeking reparations over the impact of slavery. A representative from the country will ask the King, who serves as Jamaica's head of state, to refer three questions to the Commonwealth's highest court of appeal, concerning the legality of the enslavement of Africans in Jamaica. Journalist Nelufar Hedayat, who believes British people should show some humility over what was done, and political commentator Albie Amankona, who argues no one whose life was directly impacted by slavery is still alive today, both spoke on Good Morning Britain

Almost two years ago, former footballer Jermaine Jenas lost his presenting job at the BBC and his marriage, following claims of inappropriate behaviour that were made against him by female colleagues. Now, he's broken his silence, saying his television career is over following the scandal but he's ready to move forward.
