This detail deserves a closer look. Defense attorney Kevin says he met with Patrick Clancy and went into the bedroom, where he removed a drawer from the nightstand. Inside? Empty medication bottles. An Apple Watch. A face mask. And other items. And according to this account, these were not items collected by law enforcement. So here’s the question: How does a drawer containing medication-related items and personal belongings end up being removed by the defense instead of investigators? That raises a major question about the medication timeline in the Lindsay Clancy case. Patrick reportedly had discontinued medications in his car, while empty medication bottles were later found in the nightstand—and discontinued medications were also identified in Lindsay’s toxicology. That doesn’t prove Patrick administered anything to Lindsay or caused her death. But it does make the medication chain something investigators need to fully reconstruct. What prescriptions were there? When were they discontinued? What was supposed to be discarded? What was actually discarded? Where were the bottles found? And how do the pharmacy records, physical evidence, and toxicology results line up? Until those pieces are reconciled, there are legitimate questions about what happened to those medications and how they ended up where they did.
