Amazing time at the Musial Awards in St. Louis last night. Salvador Perez was honored for extraordinary sportsmanship for that backyard wiffle ball game last summer. The kids were on stage with him, too and it was so heartwarming to see Salvy recognized for his big heart.

My thoughts on the Freddy Fermin trade. An emotional day for the Royals but I believe it’s a deal that makes them better and gives Freddy the chance to start. Gotta give up talent to get talent. Best of luck to Freddy, one of the best guys Ive covered in the game.
