Some of y’all will eat a $9 slice of chocolate cake made with ingredients you can’t pronounce…but BLACK BEANS are where you suddenly develop standards? 😆 Before anybody calls the police, the beans replace the flour and give the cake a soft, moist texture. It still tastes like chocolate cake. Nobody at the table has to know unless you enjoy ruining a perfectly good surprise. BLACK BEAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 🎂🍫 Ingredients: • 1 can Goode Foods Black Beans, drained and rinsed • 3 large eggs • ½ cup sugar • ⅓ cup melted butter or oil • ½ cup cocoa powder • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • 1 teaspoon baking powder • ½ teaspoon baking soda • Pinch of salt • Chocolate frosting Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch cake pan. 2. Blend the black beans, eggs, sugar, melted butter and vanilla until completely smooth. 3. Add the cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Blend again until combined. 4. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. 5. Let the cake cool completely before frosting. Make two layers and stack them if you’re trying to cause a little family drama. Now be honest…are you trying one slice or calling the authorities? 💯

This salad is gonna offend someone. Too green. Too crunchy. Too many beans. Too much real food. They’ll say: “Where’s the cheese?” “Where’s the meat?” “That’s rabbit food.” Meanwhile… this dense bean salad is quietly doing what ultra-processed food never could: ✔ keeps you full ✔ doesn’t spike you ✔ tastes better the longer it sits ✔ actually fuels your body If your food doesn’t look like this, don’t argue with me — argue with your energy levels. Simple ingredients. No nonsense. Built to eat all week. ⸻ DENSE BEAN SALAD (WHAT’S IN IT): •Chickpeas (the base — dense, filling, protein-packed) •Cherry tomatoes, halved •Green grapes, sliced •Fresh spinach, chopped •Fresh basil, chopped •Yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced •Red onion, thinly sliced DRESSING: •Olive oil •Fresh lemon juice or red wine vinegar •Salt •Black pepper That’s it. No sugar. No mystery sauces. ⸻ HOW TO MAKE IT (2 MINUTES): 1.Rinse and drain chickpeas well. 2.Chop all produce into bite-size pieces. 3.Add everything to a large bowl. 4.Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice (or vinegar). 5.Season generously with salt and pepper. 6.Toss until glossy and well coated. 7.Let it sit 10–15 minutes (this is where the magic happens). Eat immediately or refrigerate — it gets better the next day. #dbs #densebeansalad #salad

It’s wild watching the food industry fall apart in real time. Campbell’s out here defending GMOs… meanwhile our family’s been making real food with real ingredients for 23 years. 🍲💛 No shortcuts. No weird fillers. No “mystery thickener.” Just Goode ingredients that actually taste like home. If you grew up on canned soup, it’s officially time for an upgrade. #food
