Happy 100th birthday to Kentucky's favorite soft drink, Ale-8-One.

I believe diversity is always a strength.

Walking into this office every day is the honor of a lifetime. We love you, Kentucky.

Kentucky's constitution says no public dollars to nonpublic schools unless there's a vote from the people. I put my hand on the Bible when I swore to uphold our constitution and listen to our people – and that's an oath I've kept.

Kentucky is losing quality teachers. We can't remain competitive because we rank 44th nationwide for starting teacher pay. And without teachers to lead our classrooms, our children are falling behind. Our teachers, school staff and children deserve better.

Day one of a big week meeting with 16 companies and 260 business leaders across Finland, Sweden and then Switzerland, at the World Economic Forum – showing the world our New Kentucky Home is the best place to do business as we work to create more opportunities for our people.

I want tornado survivors to know we’re thankful they’re here — and we will help them with everything else. If you’re able, please donate to From funeral expenses for those lost to help rebuilding, every dollar goes directly to Kentuckians affected.

Looking for something to watch this weekend? Britainy and I have something for y'all: RISING, Team Kentucky's documentary on the strength and resilience of Eastern Kentuckians as they undertake the most ambitious rebuilding effort in the nation following the historic 2022 floods.

My administration has secured the first, third, fourth and fifth best years ever for wages, with 2025 hitting just under $30 an hour. We're not just bringing in any job for Kentuckians, these are good-paying jobs so folks can live better lives.

As Governor, I want to help Kentuckians. It's as simple as doing the right thing, folks. Let's keeping working together and moving forward.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said that when one commits themself to the noble struggle for equal rights, they make themself a better person; they make a greater nation of their country; and a finer world to live in. Let's build that better Kentucky for all in Dr. King's honor.

Today, Gov. Andy Beshear announced that 2025 was Kentucky’s second-best year on record for new investments within the private sector, with $10.5 billion in projects announced. Read more:

Public dollars are for public schools. Period.

Andy vs. Britainy. One is listening to Metallica. The other?

Experts anticipated a budget shortfall, but thanks to strong fiscal management by my administration, revenues came in $320 million over budget, securing our seventh straight surplus.

We're making real change in our communities and building lasting prosperity for generations to come. Let's keep pushing forward to make a difference – together.

Public education is how we build a better Kentucky, but we can't get there if our school funding is given to private corporations. Public dollars are for public schools. Period.

Kentucky needs your help. Hundreds of our people have lost so much, and at least 12 lives have been taken by the floods. If you can, please visit to donate. Funds go directly to those affected and will cover funeral costs for families in mourning.

We're reintroducing ourselves to the world and inviting folks to explore our New Kentucky Home – a place where business is fast, but the pace of life is just right. Y'all interested? We don't blame you. Come see why Team Kentucky is thriving. #NewKyHome

When you go to Target for one thing and somehow leave with a full cart ... Frankfort is excited and ready for this well-known experience as we welcome Target's largest Kentucky location to our community, along with all the good jobs coming with it. Congrats, everyone!

Unemployment is down in all 120 counties. That's great news, because it means more Kentuckians are bringing home a good paycheck to support their family. And there is nothing more important than that.

When it comes to Derby, I know where I stand: behind the hat. Always proud to be your date, Britainy.

To our LGBTQ+ community: We love you for being you. We're here for you, we see you, and we support you.

Cancer screenings can save lives. I was proud to share the Kentucky Women’s Cancer Screening Program is receiving a 22% increase in federal funding. This program provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings and services to those who qualify. More:

Happy Valentine's Day, Kentucky! I hope your day is spent with someone who makes you smile as much as Britainy makes me.

Kentucky is one of only a few states that require teenagers be 16 for their learner's permit. House Bill 15 will change that age to 15. I signed this bill knowing it will help working families better juggle all of life's activities. I may have gotten pressure from Will and Lila.

I hope you'll join us today for an Easter Celebration on the Capitol South Lawn. We all need to take care of ourselves and our kids, and this will be a fun event for everyone. And good news, the ground is dry enough for an egg hunt, which will start at 2 p.m. EDT sharp!

A Zoom visit just wasn't good enough for the students of Lafayette High School in Lexington, so I threw them a curve ball.

Went for the Gold, delivered some laughs.

Kentucky, I’ve declared a state of emergency due to widespread flooding across the state. Heavy rainfall is expected to continue through 11 p.m. EDT tonight, so we need folks to remain alert and avoid driving after dark due to high water.

Pre-K For All isn't going to be my plan, it's going to be the people's plan. We're traveling across the state and hosting town halls to hear from Kentuckians and make sure their wants and needs are included. Pre-K For All isn't political – it's a win-win for everyone.

I'm proud to stand with and celebrate our LGBTQ+ neighbors. From being the first Kentucky governor to proclaim Pride Month to standing against hateful legislation, I'm going to keep fighting for what's right – a more equal and inclusive future for all. Happy Pride, Kentucky!
