Kentucky's constitution says no public dollars to nonpublic schools unless there's a vote from the people. I put my hand on the Bible when I swore to uphold our constitution and listen to our people – and that's an oath I've kept.

As Governor, I want to help Kentuckians. It's as simple as doing the right thing, folks. Let's keeping working together and moving forward.

Walking into this office every day is the honor of a lifetime. We love you, Kentucky.

Day one of a big week meeting with 16 companies and 260 business leaders across Finland, Sweden and then Switzerland, at the World Economic Forum – showing the world our New Kentucky Home is the best place to do business as we work to create more opportunities for our people.

Kentucky is losing quality teachers. We can't remain competitive because we rank 44th nationwide for starting teacher pay. And without teachers to lead our classrooms, our children are falling behind. Our teachers, school staff and children deserve better.

My administration has secured the first, third, fourth and fifth best years ever for wages, with 2025 hitting just under $30 an hour. We're not just bringing in any job for Kentuckians, these are good-paying jobs so folks can live better lives.

Unemployment is down in all 120 counties. That's great news, because it means more Kentuckians are bringing home a good paycheck to support their family. And there is nothing more important than that.

My executive order to decrease gas prices in Kentucky by 10 cents per gallon takes effect today. This will provide our families relief from soaring gas prices, which they need and deserve.

Kentucky needs your help. Hundreds of our people have lost so much, and at least 12 lives have been taken by the floods. If you can, please visit to donate. Funds go directly to those affected and will cover funeral costs for families in mourning.

Public education is how we build a better Kentucky, but we can't get there if our school funding is given to private corporations. Public dollars are for public schools. Period.

We're building the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor without tolls! And we aren't just talking about it – we're getting the job done. A safer bridge, shorter commutes and a boost to national commerce. This is a win-win for Kentucky, Ohio and our country.

With help from Congress and Kentucky's Attorney General, we could decrease gas prices by nearly 29 cents per gallon for Kentuckians. Americans need relief from rising prices. Together, we can deliver the help our families need.

Gas prices in Kentucky have gone down by 10 cents or more since my executive order took effect Monday. This has the potential to save Kentuckians $26.8 million dollars over a one-month period. Every dollar matters right now.

Kentucky is one of only a few states that require teenagers be 16 for their learner's permit. House Bill 15 will change that age to 15. I signed this bill knowing it will help working families better juggle all of life's activities. I may have gotten pressure from Will and Lila.

A Zoom visit just wasn't good enough for the students of Lafayette High School in Lexington, so I threw them a curve ball.

Overdose deaths in Kentucky have decreased for the fourth straight year, with a 22.9% drop from last year – and a 50.8% decrease since 2021. We will never forget those lost to addiction, but today's news gives us hope that the work we're doing saves lives.

Pre-K For All isn't going to be my plan, it's going to be the people's plan. We're traveling across the state and hosting town halls to hear from Kentuckians and make sure their wants and needs are included. Pre-K For All isn't political – it's a win-win for everyone.
