I think this is one of the most important blocks on the 49ers George Kittle screen touchdown Watkins is the backside player and because he engaged in this block all the way down field, he ate up the DBs angle to tackle George Love when this type of effort shows up on film — young WRs pay attention

Brock Purdy did not look like his normal self yesterday and made a handful of poor throws that ultimately hurt the team That being said, I still don’t have a problem with this throw Was it a perfect throw? No, but it’s not egregious either. Rusher in his face, identifies CMC breaking open and put it on him for a chance to bring it down Unfortunate tip turns into INT but there were many other throws worth nitpicking other than this one imo (🎥 Rich)

When I interviewed Bryce Huff after being traded from the Eagles, he told me he knew before the season started he was not a fit in Philly On this play you can see his hand in the dirt, not something Vic Fangio coaches. He told me after making this play that Vic ignored him on the sideline. Could see Bryce Huff have some extra juice today

This simulated pressure from Raheem Morris has been something I have always wanted to see from this defense They scheme up a free rusher while only rushing 3 guys. This is an advanced defensive scheme we got here with the Niners.

49ers rookie WR De’Zhaun Stribling’s success continued as pads came on - Purdy delivered layered dime over Stout to Stribling’s - had a really nice catch on a comeback with bodies all around him - showcased route running ability in 1v1 - Arguably the most consistently targeted WR in team period

I got to spend some time with George Kittle this morning during the TEU workout and I’m very surprised how well he is progressing from Achilles surgery Week 1 absolutely looks like it’s in play for the All-Pro TE

Checkout this pre-snap play recognition by 49ers CB Upton Stout He seemingly recognizes the play, points to where the wide-out is going to pull and then beats him to spot to make the tackle This is why you watch film, kids

#49ers Camp Update: I am having surgery today to repair a ruptured patella and will miss the rest of training camp and likely half the regular season This was an injury I originally suffered in January and unfortunately the repair was unsuccessful I appreciate all your support of my camp coverage and I’m going to miss bringing you daily updates Just know, through 5 days of camp, the 49ers are trending in the right direction and this should be a good year 🤞

I remember I had asked Brandon Aiyuk in the offseason if he would be down to do a YouTube live interview and he said that it wasn’t a good time and he’d let me know if something worked out. Naturally I just thought he was good off doing the interview which is perfectly fine but right after the 49ers lost to Philly in the NFCCG, he reached out and dm’d me if I wanted to setup an interview. I thought that was so cool that he really reached back out to set up the interview with me like he said he would. We did the interview, he was great, laid back, we talked ball, the chat was absolutely electric. My favorite interview I’ve ever done. I know BA has done a lot of extremely questionable things as of late but I genuinely miss this dude who just chopped it up with me on stream for over an hour and was super generous with his time.

This clip of Colton McKivitz sack is a perfect example of "eye in the sky never lies" This is actually a great rep by McKivitz who gets the DE on the ground but as DE is going to the ground he grabs McKivitz and pulls him down The DE then uses McKvitz to pull himself back up and hit Mac, borderline defensive holding

"Please watch the opening drive, how Purdy was able to go 95 yards is amazing when this dude was not blocking anyone or when he was completely whiffing repeatedly and looking around like defenders don’t exist, I don’t understand how or why this extension was needed now"
