Despite war, bombardment, and decades of Hamas rule, today the community gathered at Saint Porphyrius Church to celebrate several of their high school students graduating with honors and outstanding academic achievement. Even in the darkest circumstances, they continue to choose education, faith, and life. As one of the world’s oldest Christian communities slowly disappears, the Middle East loses an irreplaceable part of its history.
