Democrats don’t exist to defeat Republicans, they exist to block progressive movements from access to political power. Ignore the “workers rights” window dressing. Their primary commitment is to protect capital accumulation. Dividing the country into liberals and conservatives is the ultimate distraction from the real divide: top to bottom.
