Fun fact about WSU coach Jake Dickert: As a senior at Division III UW-Stevens Point, he returned from an appendicitis after two weeks. He moved from QB to WR. He thought about transferring, but he stuck it out and met his wife. “You were just playing because you loved the game."

WSU wing LeJuan Watts’ parents, Walter and Rachel, died when he was in 7th and 10th grade, respectively. His sister, Brea, raised him and younger brother DeSean. Says their memory pushes him on the court, especially in tough moments. “I play how my life was — try to play hard.”
