@gunsnrosesgirl3 Everyone should know this signal. Please share. The universal hand signal for “help me” was created by the Canadian Women’s Foundation to help people in distress, especially those experiencing domestic violence, to discreetly ask for help.

The Rehbinder effect is a phenomenon in physics that reduces the hardness and ductility of a material by a surfactant film. A surfactant is a substance that lowers the surface tension of a liquid, such as water. When a ceramic cup is submerged in water, the water acts as a surfactant and weakens the bonds between the atoms on the surface of the cup. This makes it easier to pierce the cup with a nail without breaking it.

Atlantic and Pacific Ocean Don't Mix? 🤔 Firstly, let's clarify that the Atlantic and Pacific oceans are not separate entities. They do mix! The video shows two bodies of water that appear not to be mixing. However, while the video is authentic, it has often been mislabeled. The video actually shows the Fraser River Plume flowing into the Pacific Ocean in Canada. The phenomenon of the plume of the Fraser River is caused by the mixing of freshwater and saltwater in the Strait of Georgia. The Fraser River is the longest river in British Columbia, Canada, and it carries a large amount of silt and nutrients from the mountains to the sea. The freshwater from the river has a lower density, temperature, and salinity than the ocean water, so it forms a thin layer on the surface of the sea. The boundary between these two water masses is marked by a sharp change in color and turbidity, creating a striking contrast that is visible even from space. The plume also supports a rich marine ecosystem, as the nutrients from the river stimulate the growth of phytoplankton, which are the basis of the food web for fish and other animals. 📽️ Maryan Pears

#Squirrels defy gravity with their incredible fall survival skills! Their unique adaptations, including a 'righting reflex', lightweight bodies, strong hind limbs, and parachute-like tails, allow them to brave falls from dizzying heights due to a very low terminal velocity. 🐿️
