Little Richard never had a problem telling us what was on his mind. *bonus points if you can name the "brother" staring over Eddie Murphy's shoulder

The night before he died, I remember playing this on the way home from work. Windows down, bobbin my head, stank face on, singing along. The next day, he was gone.

I think I just found my favorite band. Spirit Fingers Trio. I've just been getting into Mohini Day, she's a beast on the bass. Greg Spero on the keys and the monster, Mike Mitchell aka Blaque Dynamite on the drums.

It's rare when your first concert ever attended is taped. After this night, I was hooked.

The legendary Club Black show in New York. I was there with my gf Susanna at the time, it was standing room only and we were at the front of the stage. I remember Dave Chappelle was there in the audience as well. Prince was in a good mood that night, as he had just finished the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance a few hours earlier. Someone in the crowd had a sparkler that kept changing colors, which prompted Prince to show off his lucite heels that would display multiple colors every time he took a step.
