New York’s recent “ghost gun bill” is not just an attack on the Second Amendment. We continue to highlight and fight back against this new wave of spyware laws because they target firearms, but their scope goes far beyond guns. They are an attack on American industry as a whole. These laws would regulate every device capable of production by forcing it to be analyzed live by AI algorithms, report what you are doing to the government in real time, and shut down your machine if they do not like what you are making. There isn't a stronger Second Amendment champion in Congress than Thomas Massie ✅ Chairs the House Second Amendment Caucus ✅ Introduced the Real National Constitutional Carry Act ✅ Authored legislation to repeal federal gun-free school zones ✅ Passed a bill demanding NICS transparency through the House ✅ Fought back against bills that would spy on gun owners ✅ Sponsored legislation to lower the handgun purchase age to 18 ✅ Has NEVER cast a single anti-Second Amendment vote While many Republicans talk a good game, they seldom put their money where their mouth is. If every Republican in Congress cared about our Second Amendment rights like Thomas Massie does, they wouldn't just be defended, they'd be expanded.

The “Takings Clause” of the 5th Amendment has been the last line gun-grabbers have refused to cross. They ban sales, they ban transfers, they regulate how you can use your arms, but they were never bold enough to enact outright confiscation. This bill is important, not just in Rhode Island but nationwide, because they’ve finally decided to throw the 5th Amendment in the trash along with the 2nd. They are coming for your guns. Legal gun owners who follow the Constitution are not the problem. They are not the cause of strife, and they commit crime at negligible rates. The resident GIFFORDS ghoul has stepped up to testify. They complain that it is “too difficult” to sue firearms companies, and argue that the PLCAA must be gutted. Really? Because we struggle to think of a major firearms manufacturer that has not been sued by these groups. For everything from rappers having guns in music videos, to depictions in video games, to crimes committed with stolen firearms in entirely different countries! All things that the manufacturer had no party to, nor any means to control.
