Oscar Wilde died 125 years ago. At 8.30 this morning Merlin Holland took us to his grandfather’s tomb at Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris & told us something of its history. We were able to look inside the tomb to see the casket containing the ashes of Wilde’s friend Robbie Ross.
