I walked along Oxford Street today, looked up and was very surprised by what I saw …

Oscar Wilde died 125 years ago. At 8.30 this morning Merlin Holland took us to his grandfather’s tomb at Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris &amp; told us something of its history. We were able to look inside the tomb to see the casket containing the ashes of Wilde’s friend Robbie Ross.

They say the last thing you see before going to sleep can colour your dreams … feast your eyes on the flowers in my fireplace just before lights out - and sleep well.

Oh look! They’re lining up to buy my book. Unfortunately the bookshop has sold all the books, so I’m signing scraps of paper instead …

Out tonight with my friend ⁦Clare Balding 💙⁩ cheering our wives as they sang their hearts out for ⁦Maggie's Centres⁩ at St Eths in Fulham - a great night of great music in aid of a great cause!
