Let’s talk about Rania Mallah, killed yesterday in an Israeli strike on Bourj al-Shamali in Tyre. For 12 hours, Rania was buried beneath the rubble & known to still be alive. Her family kept calling her mobile phone. She would switch it on to let them know she was still there. Still breathing. Still waiting to be rescued. To let Lebanese Civil Defence rescuers know where she was trapped. Rescue teams pulled others out & kept digging with their bare hands in search of her, until orders came to halt all rescue operations until the following morning. But they had Rania’s number. They kept calling her. And she kept answering. She never spoke. But they could hear her breathing. For 12 hours, Rania lay there alone beneath broken concrete, stones, darkness, dust & fear. Most likely injured. Listening to voices above her, knowing people were trying to reach her but were being prevented from continuing. Just like in Maarakeh, rescuers were forced to stop searching overnight. Still, they kept calling her phone to give her hope. To let her know she had not been abandoned. By around 1:00 a.m., roughly 12 hours after the strike, her phone finally went dead. The battery had most likely run out. This morning, rescuers resumed the search. They found Rania. Next to her was her mobile phone. She had died. Israel killed her twice. The first time with a bomb. The second time when rescuers were prevented from saving her.

Tonight, entire families were wiped out in Israel’s bombardment of Mashghara in the Bekaa. Among the dead: Samir Rizk. Hamza Rizk & his two children. Hassan Mansour, his wife, & their two daughters. Killed inside their homes, late at night, as Israeli warplanes unleashed wave after wave of heavy strikes on the town. The footage from the scene is hellish. Homes burning. Entire buildings torn open. Families buried beneath the rubble in their sleep.

🚨BREAKING🚨 Tyre is under a night of fire. Israel is blitzing residential neighbourhoods across Lebanon’s coastal city while civilians try to hunker down in their homes. Apartment blocks, streets & entire districts are being pounded with relentless airstrikes as families scramble for shelter under constant bombardment. Such attacks are clearly not “targeted,” but collective blanket, indiscriminate terror from the air.

🚨BREAKING UPDATE🚨 Tyre is burning again tonight. Only hours after the earlier blitz on the city, Israeli strikes resumed after midnight, setting residential neighbourhoods ablaze while civilians tried to shelter for the night. These images are from Tyre now. Apartment buildings on fire. Streets lit by explosions. Civil defence crews rushing into the flames as the bombing continues around them. Israel is lashing out across south Lebanon with escalating fury, not only to terrorise civilians, but also out of frustration at its growing inability to stop Hezbollah’s FPV drone attacks. Netanyahu appears to believe that flattening neighbourhoods & intensifying collective punishment will force the resistance into submission. It won’t.

‼️ Tonight, Israel slaughtered an entire family. Ten members of the Deebo family were killed inside their home in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr in south Lebanon. Women, children & grandparents. Not “Hezbollah targets.” Human beings. Among them: Maria Deebo. Maleeka Deebo. Little Mohammed Baqer Deebo. Their mother Zahraa Najdi. Their father Alaa Deebo. Alongside their grandparents and uncle. Entire generations wiped out in a single strike, killed late at night inside their own home. Ten people were massacred in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr tonight, among them three women & three children. This was never a ceasefire. It was permission for Israel to keep killing civilians, bombing homes at will, and acting with total impunity.

🚨JUTS IN🚨The Mechanism Committee has reportedly instructed emergency responders in Maarakeh to halt rescue operations, despite reports that survivors are still trapped beneath the rubble. In other words, rescuers are being prevented from pulling people out because Israel has demanded this, which suggests it may strike the area again. Imagine surviving the initial bombardment, buried alive under concrete, hearing rescuers above you, only for the search to suddenly stop because another strike is feared. This is what dystopian times in south Lebanon now look like. They are not even being allowed to save the wounded & trapped.

Another video released by Hezbollah’s Military Media shows an FPV drone flying freely along the Naqoura coastal road in southern Lebanon, tracking two Israeli engineering vehicles, hugging the cliff side. The drone initially appears to line up the second vehicle from the rear, before suddenly switching course & slamming directly into the lead D9 bulldozer in a kamikaze strike. The footage once again underlines how exposed Israeli forces remain on some of these frontline routes. Despite Israel’s overwhelming air superiority, the drones still own the low altitude.

Hajeh Ne’meh is 100 years old. She survived Israel’s massacre in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr yesterday. She says she had only stepped out to buy bread. When she returned, her home was shattered and the neighbourhood had turned into a massacre scene. “What can I do?” she asks through tears. “These children used to play in the road beside me. I used to give them sweets…” “How can this be allowed? Children being carried away like that?” “Dear God… oh dear God…” Hajeh Ne’meh says it was unbearable watching the small bodies of the children being carried away after the strike. An Israeli war crime caught on camera in real time. Footage shows the moment three paramedics were killed today in Deir Qanoun el-Nahr in south Lebanon. The men can be seen trying to help casualties lying in the street after an earlier Israeli strike, including a child. From a nearby window, a woman films the scene as the paramedics work to evacuate the injured. “An innocent child… what did she ever do?” she says, watching the two killed by an earlier strike lying on the ground. An ambulance that arrived is waved down & moves further down the road. Seconds later, another Israeli strike hits the area directly. A flash. An explosion. Then panic. “Allahu Akbar… Allahu Akbar… they hit the medics… they hit the medics. The medics are gone, the medics are gone …” the woman screams in terror. One of the paramedics seen sitting beside the wounded suddenly collapses to the ground as the woman cries out: “Oh my God… he’s dead… dear God, he’s dead…” “Oh my God… they’re dead… they killed the paramedics… dear God… they’re gone…” The footage is devastating. Men who arrived to save lives were themselves killed while trying to rescue the wounded from the first strike. Please watch until the end.

Two days ago, Rida Awada from Jwaya was helping dig graves for those killed in Israeli strikes in south Lebanon. He did not know he was preparing his own. Yesterday, Israel killed him too. Today, he was buried in the very ground he helped open for others. Such is the reality buried beneath all the diplomatic language about “ceasefires” & “de-escalation.” Ordinary men preparing graves faster than the world can count the dead.

South Lebanon is not just rubble & headlines. Between the towns, villages, & hills lies a landscape of extraordinary beauty: fertile valleys, olive groves, rivers, abundant water resources, ancient archaeological sites, & breathtaking natural vistas that rarely make it into the news. This is the region Israel has devastated; villages flattened, towns emptied, over 1 million Lebanese displaced since the escalation began. Yet within the last 48 hours, prominent Israeli voices have openly advocated expanding into southern Lebanon & establishing permanent settlements there, some invoking biblical claims & framing the Litani River as Israel's natural northern border. At the same time, ultra-orthodox & settler-linked groups (tied to Uri Tsafon) have been advertising properties in southern Lebanon for sale on their websites, listings treating Lebanese land as already controllable, with starting prices around 300,000 shekels ($80,000), urging "return to ancestral land." The Litani River itself has been a coveted strategic water resource for Israel since early Zionist proposals in 1919, when leaders like Chaim Weizmann argued for its inclusion in the Jewish homeland to support agriculture & immigration - ambitions echoed by Ben-Gurion & Dayan, who viewed it as Israel's natural northern border. This is not merely about security buffers or temporary military needs. It is about land acquisition, demographic engineering, annexation, and permanent expansion under the cover of war. The footage and stills show what they are trying to take: a region of profound natural, historical, and cultural richness. This is what is at stake, & what the resistance is fighting against, & will not allow to materialise. This is what the headlines rarely show. This is what they are trying to steal. 😔🕊️

‼️ 13 civilians from the same extended family were killed in the Israeli massacre in Al-Saksakieh. Three generations of IDPs wiped out in a single strike. Among the dead were brothers Ghaleb & Youssef Fahs, along with their wives, children, relatives and parents. Also killed were 24-year-old Jana Fahs, her two-year-old daughter Mariam, six-month-old Hani Ghalib Fahs, two teenage boys, an 11-year-old girl, and 70-year-old Khadija Awadah. Families displaced from Jebsheet fled to Al-Saksakieh believing it would be safer there. Instead, the building sheltering them was turned into a mass grave.

Yesterday they carried stretchers through smoke & rubble trying to pull the wounded out alive. Today, their own bodies were carried through the streets of Harouf. Paramedics Haj Jaafar Nasr, Fadl Bawwab & rescue worker Ali Al-Sayed, among the many unsung heroes of south Lebanon, were targeted & killed by an Israeli strike while carrying out the work of saving others. The men now being buried under flowers & shrouds were the same men who spent their days pulling civilians from ruins, rushing the injured to hospitals & answering calls most people would run from. Now their families walk behind their coffins instead. Colleagues who once worked beside them in rescue missions are carrying them to their graves with their own hands. At least 110 paramedics & rescue workers have been killed by Israeli attacks since March 2. Another 205 have been injured. This is what Israel’s so-called “ceasefire” looks like in south Lebanon. Israeli drones overhead. Israeli strikes on towns & homes. Israeli bombs turning paramedics, babies, mothers, fathers, newlyweds & entire families into funeral processions. And still the world, & the complicit Lebanese leadership, repeats hollow words about “de-escalation” while Israel keeps killing in plain sight.

Israel’s “Ceasefire” Lie: 478 Violations in Lebanon’s First Week Israel has committed 478 documented violations of the Lebanon ceasefire in just the first week. From midnight April 16 to midnight April 22, the Israeli army carried out: 142 demolition & explosion operations 87 artillery & heavy-weapon strikes 35 live-fire shooting incidents 18 airstrikes Plus 12 attacks using phosphorus, sound bombs & thermal munitions, & 184 other violations. These aggressions killed 7 people, including journalists, & wounded 20 others, including media workers & rescue teams. Rescue crews & journalists were directly targeted in 9 separate incidents. (Since then the numbers of violations & casualties have risen.) Israel claims this is a ceasefire, whereas in reality this is systematic Israeli aggression continuing under a false label of truce. I suppose an entity that shows so little regard for human life was never going to show much for animals either. Israel bombed a horse farm north of Nabatiyeh, killing the horses inside. Another living space turned into rubble. Another scene of death in what the world still insists on calling a “ceasefire.” Perhaps the animal rights movement will finally find its voice here, seeing as human rights organisations & international law have so utterly failed to protect actual human beings. “Where are you Baba? I love you… come back… I love you…” Little Mariam Hariri speaks to her father after Israel killed journalist & paramedic Ahmad Hariri in the double-tap strike on Deir Qanoun el-Nahr. The video then cuts to Ahmad’s final message to his daughter before he was killed: “Good morning, my life… I’ll come to you today after work, okay?” He never came home.

‼️ Watch in real time how Israel directly targeted a clearly marked ambulance. Inside, wounded medics call out over the radio, with shock, fear & desperation: “Abou Hassan… we took a direct hit. Ya Allah (oh god) Abou Hassan… hurry…. We are in the vehicle… Ya Allah (oh god) …” Four paramedics were injured in today’s attack. At least they made it out alive. Others never did. Since March 2, 103 paramedics and healthcare workers have been killed, 241 injured, 121 ambulances damaged, and 16 hospitals struck. For a few unbearable moments, the rescuers became the ones pleading to be rescued.
