I’m really glad that some mainstream commentators are pushing back on AES’ antiquated “corporatism is anti-capitalism, I’m a real capitalist” line. We don’t need to do this sort of vapid pandering anymore. People are sick and tired of capitalism, they don’t want this. They want socialism, and now that we are gaining strength it’s time to embrace it fully as a signifier.

Anyone that’s been around the movement long enough has seen Fergie Chambers. Despite wealth large enough to easily not have to work for the rest of his life, he always spends his time among the people, fighting for justice. Attached is an unedited, never before seen interview with Fergie by Geese at a 2023 Stop Cop City protest we were covering. In it you can see the unbridled “revolutionary joy” within Fergie, something he carries with him everywhere he goes. He’s someone who, regardless of any potential disagreement one may have with the totality of his politics, we must defend. Fergie’s arrest in the wake of the Prairieland arrests and other autocratic repression marks a new era of fascism that threatens our movements legality. To fight for Fergie’s freedom is to fight for us all. Free Fergie Chambers.

As goofy as the Baltimore Maoists video is, it has nothing on the Red Guards Austin vs PSL/WWP video of them fighting in front of a gas station. Istg under socialism ts is gonna be studied as a primary source example of the primitivism of the sect form in 21st century America lol
