Anyone that’s been around the movement long enough has seen Fergie Chambers. Despite wealth large enough to easily not have to work for the rest of his life, he always spends his time among the people, fighting for justice. Attached is an unedited, never before seen interview with Fergie by Geese at a 2023 Stop Cop City protest we were covering. In it you can see the unbridled “revolutionary joy” within Fergie, something he carries with him everywhere he goes. He’s someone who, regardless of any potential disagreement one may have with the totality of his politics, we must defend. Fergie’s arrest in the wake of the Prairieland arrests and other autocratic repression marks a new era of fascism that threatens our movements legality.
