My go to summer grill menu for dinner!

Latest addition to pollination nation! A hand-hammered copper birdbath I picked up on a recent trip to the countryside! Incoming — several gladiolus. Also it looks like some bees are having a meeting in my salvia!

There’s a Schumer shutdown …. So I invited many of my DOJ Civil Rights Division colleagues over for a get together to socialize and feed them since they aren’t getting paid but several are working on critical, exempted matters… Yes I designed and knit that sweater and you can’t have one!

Flowers from my garden this morning. As you can see, my “Totally Tangerine” dahlia tubers to brought from SF performed well. The roses are “Perfume Factory” and gorgeously fragrant!

Flowers from my garden in DC this morning, such a nice welcome home and change of pace from arguing an important 7th Circuit gun rights case…. Flowers make everything better.

Tonight… driving to my Sonoma place, passed the mouth of the Russian River at Jenner…. The light was ethereal and sublime!

If you were organizing a Republican event where a donated, hand-knit hat knit by the guest speaker were to be auctioned for the cause, which would you pick? All hats have some wool and cashmere in them — gray speckled, green/gold, pink/blue, or pink/cream speckled?

A brief thought about the RNC Chair race. It’s been an honor to hear from all the Americans who reached out to share their views about the party’s leadership. While we are disappointed with the results, we started a movement &amp; I will keep working to elect Republicans nationwide!!

Needed to power through and finish this one … so I did —

Millions of Republican voters, grassroots activists, donors, influencers, and elected officials are calling for a change in leadership at the RNC. I’m working every vote. The election is tomorrow and my campaign has the momentum!

Mom’s spoiled doggies …

Just ONE reasonable juror could have had courage and common sense, preventing this miscarriage of justice, but it’s NYC and it was rigged from the start!

We had a private family cremation followed by home prayer service today for my father. There were many tears but also acceptance and determination to remember Dad in all his glory. We will have a memorial service and Bhog at the Durham Gurudwara on Saturday. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
