La Jolla CA this morning before I moved on …. Got half my steps in….

INDY race today - IROC — as seen from my office by a colleague. I was taking my mom for a pedicure 🥰… looks like good fun!

Was tending my garden this evening after visiting my mom for two evenings…. Several neighbors stopped by &amp; expressed their appreciation for my garden and its blooms 🥰. The passion flowers are particularly popular! Politics aside, some people still love nature&amp; beauty!

Knitting at my mom’s place, a wholesome Saturday endeavor. Walked 20k steps, ate heathily too.

Napping on the job?! 🐝 tsk tsk!

Out of order but this is how I made my corn soup tonight. Also went to the gym, lifted heavier than last time, walked 22k steps, multiple media hits, work calls, meetings, charging decisions, kicked off some fresh investigations. Ate well.

Let me just give it a quick scrub before grilling this chicken! Two hours and four arm days later …. First time grill cleaning, tbh fueled by a touch of rage ….

There’s a Schumer shutdown …. So I invited many of my DOJ Civil Rights Division colleagues over for a get together to socialize and feed them since they aren’t getting paid but several are working on critical, exempted matters… Yes I designed and knit that sweater and you can’t have one!

Latest addition to pollination nation! A hand-hammered copper birdbath I picked up on a recent trip to the countryside! Incoming — several gladiolus. Also it looks like some bees are having a meeting in my salvia!

“Mom… can you just please chup karo (be quiet) while I take a video?” Meal prepared mainly by my nephew Zoraver Singh with some meddling from the ladies …

Like me, this bee is getting an early start but it’s hard going because the passion flowers haven’t opened fully as yet at 6 am. Bee is undeterred. Also zinnias, roses, dahlias.

It’s not all glamour and bring your own coffee. Sometimes one has to go on the road to argue for the United States in an important case. Hampton Inn, powered by dubious take out sushi and Chex Mix. God, I love this country! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Hi 👋🏼 everyone! Positive news from the ground in Maricopa County! Things are going well, issues are being handled, and the main issue is those Arizona voters who haven’t gotten in line and voted! 🗳️ Let’s finish strong!

A brief thought about the RNC Chair race. It’s been an honor to hear from all the Americans who reached out to share their views about the party’s leadership. While we are disappointed with the results, we started a movement &amp; I will keep working to elect Republicans nationwide!!
