If that pass wasn’t batted at the LOS that might have been a pick 6

KILL SHOT!!!

I really didn’t think it was possible to love this genius any more than I already do but damn it I’m over the moon now

This is why a lot of ppl (including myself) were fooled into thinking this was a weak/bad call. The broadcast only showed 2 replays of it and they were both from the side angle where you couldn’t see how much Edwards was moving and how wide her legs were.

The reaction by Spencer Lee’s mother Via WhoDey All Dey.

What the hell is this call!?

Brian Ferentz asked if he has a message for the Iowa fans who are running out of patience with the offense. “I don’t have a message to them”

This is one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen a coach make. UCF has it 1st and 10 from own 1 but Arizona State has NO TIMEOUTS! Just sneak the ball and go to the half with the lead. Fireable.

If I was an Iowa state coach I’d have a hard time not undressing any player who just willingly runs out of bounds on your last gasp play. Situational awareness level 0.

We’ve got to figure this out. Saw something similar in CyHawk game. This was not flagged because the officials claimed he was BLOCKED INTO the returner which is horribly wrong and not reviewable. This is clear as day.

Wow this is incredible praise for Hilton from ESPN’s Dave O’Brien and Jay Williams. Dave says it’s the loudest CBB building he’s ever place he’s ever been in. Jay seems to agree and says Phog is “somewhat comparable” ***as they’re calling a game at Duke

TJ was begging for a timeout after Iowa State went up 2 points late in OT and somehow no official saw him

What are you supposed to do if you’re down that low as a rusher? Just stop?

Went to Iowa/NW in 2000. Kirk was 3-18 at that time. There were 54,000 ppl in attendance at Kinnick. He led Iowa to a convincing win over NW to keep them out of Rose Bowl. That was the moment Iowa fans knew Kirk had things cookin.

Deacon Hill 🔥

Oh my god. Bama just threw a screen pass to Proctor.

An Iowa QB is making dudes look BAD in the open field. Haven’t seen this since what — 2002? (Via NBC Sports)

The moment the game ended and our souls departed our bodies on Instant IOWA

Iowa scores and McCollum calls timeout to get after one of his best players for a shitty defensive effort on previous possession. I love this stuff.

An absolute chef’s kiss on this farewell video from Pollard. Stroking the I-State logo on his door on the way out. Perfection!

It’s not fair to Hank Brown but this isn’t about fairness … and he just got Wally Pipp’d. Have to stick with Heck after what we just saw tonight.

Might be the coolest entrance I’ve ever seen

Instant IOWA cold open was HOT. Biggest win for the Hawkeyes in 4 years!

This is the greatest I’ve felt about a win for any of my teams since I was a kid

I look and sound like a crazed lunatic but man does it feel good to finally win one of these!!!!!!

How’d you like the taste of your own kicking medicine Cyclones? Caden Burr will never pay for a drink in Iowa City (when he is of age)!

Iowa punt coordinator Carl Pepper is fired up for spring football. And he may have just stumbled into a genius idea.

Well said Josh Pate … if you have watched Iowa play in October there is no way you’re keeping them out of the top 25. Too many people are just saying: “well they beat a horrible 0-4 Penn State team and the QB they paid isn’t throwing TD passes” WATCH THE GAMES.

Good stuff from Matt Norlander on why coaches like Ben McCollum and TJ Otzelberger would turn down a blue blood like UNC.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m more excited for Iowa bball than Iowa football this season. Look at this big beautiful bastard Andrew McKeever! He’s going to MOG anyone who tries to challenge him.

In honor of Iowa naming the Kinnick radio booth after Gary Dolphin, I’d like to share one of my favorite “Dolph” calls. It’s from the 2012 CyHawk game beginning with an EROTIC run, and ending with the Cyclones kneeling the ball to preserve a 1 point loss and a moral victory.

We asked Tom Fornelli to play out the coaching carousel on CBS Sports HQ. Rhule ➡️ PSU Campbell ➡️ Nebraska Mouser ➡️ Iowa State HC “If you’re Matt Campbell, maybe you feel like you’ve just kinda hit your head against the ceiling of what you can accomplish at Iowa State.”

“I seen the kickoff … an the ball was comin’ real fast!” - Iowa fan who got smoked in the face by a kickoff. Dude sounds like he’s been drinkin’ since 4am 🤣🤣🤣 (Via Hawkeye Radio Network LEARFIELD Audio)

Matt Campbell’s first media appearance after calling Ames a “food desert” came at the Quaker Steak & Lube in State College. He was sandwiched between guys who call themselves Goon and Ironhead. And he appears to want to be anywhere else in the world but there.

I don’t agree w/ Iowa fans who are upset the CyHawk has been extended. They’d probably replace it with a UK or a Vandy, not with Texas or UGA. But I also disagree with Chris Williams that Iowa fans are only saying this because they’ve lost 3 of 4. They’d say it no matter what.

Jamie Pollard couldn’t tell Matt Campbell what to do so he couldn’t get his beloved I-State logo on the helmets last year. I’m convinced Pollard is forcing the logo back onto the helmets for the start of the Jimmy Rodgers era to spite Campbell and Cyclone fans who hate it.

This has happened before but there was a very different reaction. A Big 12 starting QB bet on his own team, got caught, lost his eligibility — and there was no outcry from Iowa State or Cyclone fans. All parties accepted the one and only outcome.

Interesting question from Casual Big Ten — if you could kick out 3 Big Ten members who would get the boot? The first 2 are obvious. But then it gets a bit more difficult.
