Those who misrepresent these strikes as illegal need to go back to the law books. The US assistance of a major non-NATO Ally is further buttressed by President Trump's references to pre-emptive strikes against imminent Iranian threats. Misusing the name of international law and spreading misinformation about the applicable legal framework in pursuit of political agendas does a disservice to the international legal order.
