The “Quick, hide my sweatpants!” when the door first opens always makes me giggle. I can never unsee it. 🤭

I don’t have a lot of video to share of my time with Mel, but I did find this cute bit where she refuses to be rushed, and where she greets me by name, which…I’m sorry, but that will never not make me blush and giggle like a kid. 🫣🫠

#TheRookie casually dressing Lucy in the quarter zip she wore in 2x12 when Tim tossed her ring back to her and told her that 120919 was the first day of the rest of her life my god I fucking love this show and their legendary Chenford callbacks. 😭

After he kisses her and walks away, for a moment it looks like she’s about to be sick. I always interpreted that as her being physically repulsed by the affection - not because of Tim, but because in that moment she feels supremely unworthy of comfort. ᴖ̈

Can we talk about how monumental it is that he mentioned how amazing he had thought she looked that night…while they were still both actively dating other people and she was still his aide? I get to check that off my Chenford bucket list 😭😭

Sometimes I just sit and think about what a gift Lucy’s words were for this man who had been hiding his insecurities for so long, never letting anyone get too close, and always wondering if he’d ever be important enough for anyone to stick by him no matter what. 🥹 #Chenford
