Court has still not started. On Friday the Chief Magistrate ordered that the prosecutor and the IO arrive at 9am sharp. This despite the prosecutor telling the court time and time again that he can’t be here on Monday at all and if he is here it will be much later. Legal representative for #JoeSibanyoni Shaun Abraham’s tells #eNCA that action must be taken against the prosecutor for defying the order. eNCA

Their bail application was meant to be heard today, but because of outstanding matters and issues it’s been moved to Thursday. The two are facing three chargers, attempted murder, defeating the ends of justice & pointing a firearm. A 23-year old believed to be an employee at the Mugabe house was shot and wounded after an alleged altercation. It is still far too many. SAPS says they do all they can to train and protect officers. Today, 12 officers are being remembered, the youngest was just 25. I need to understand what is so difficult about working street lights? Why do they work and then stop and then they never fixed. Half of Joburg is dark. His suspension will most likely be lifted, awaiting a report and if it does indeed confirm what he said, Adv Mothibi will decide. Adv Mothibi confirms that Prosecutor Ntaba’s life was under threat.
