$Posting this as a Tesla FSD public service and the outside chance Tesla see’s this. Yesterday FSD nearly drove into the concrete jersey barrier on hwy 17 as I was traveling to Santa Cruz California. I intervened a fraction of a second before impact. This video doesn’t show the event but does show the conditions a few minutes later when I thought to honk the horn to save a clip. I have used FSD for years and this was the most epic fail. Note that there is little margin for error. I am on hw3 and have NOT received 14 lite Tesla AI Elon Musk Please tag the appropriate team if you can.$

I had some thoughts about how to (safely) capture some video of the Tesla Semi vs diesel semi’s going up a steep grade. The average grade ascending the Donner Pass is 7% up to 16%. This is some of what I captured. #Tesla #teslasemi Tesla runs these semi’s daily, fully loaded up this grade and on other routes to uncover any issues and remediate them before they begin volume delivery. Tesla Semi Goes BeastMode - This is one of the steepest sections of the Donner Pass grade. I have great respect for all truckers as they deliver the stuff we all consume. As mentioned before, Tesla Engineering generally runs 3 semi’s each shift with two shifts. If you doubt these trucks are at-least 80,000lbs, ask yourself what purpose it would serve for them to run them empty. My semi stalking is not coordinated with Tesla in any way. All of my videos are delivered pro-bono. Let the games begin.
