I was so glad that the cameras caught this honest conversation. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 ⚾️ Thank you Los Angeles Times Steve Henson for this beautiful piece. 🥹🥹🥹 When RJ was diagnosed with autism at 3 years old, we were told he would never have meaningful employment… 23 years later he has a whole Clubhouse full of big brothers…and a World Series ring with his name on it 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 NEVER let anyone dictate the future for your child. Stay prayerful, proactive & protective. And advocate advocate advocate! #fbf from last year when we visited my old stomping grounds The Talk ! Ironically, we spoke about our son RJ checking a huge NEVER off his list with his very meaningful job with the Dodgers ✅ 🙏🏽 After just completing his ninth season, we have a monster game TONIGHT and I’m saying big prayers that we win! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽Either way RJ has already won by being connected with a team who hired inclusively and took a shot on him -giving him purpose in a world that still struggles to accept #autism. All anybody ever needs is a a little compassion and support and a chance to thrive in this world! I am so grateful to this organization. 💙💙💙💙 Hey don’t miss my final appearance on The Talk TODAY as they end their show. 😕Still a little weird to be on that set, but it feels like a real solid full circle moment.
