They want to get strong, build muscle, and look good naked WHILE spending less time in the gym and more time with their friends, family, work, and other hobbies.

This is the most unique pendulum squat I’ve ever used. Based on the legendary Hoist ROC-It equipment line, both the back pad and the foot plate arc during the movement. In order to offset the load, it had over 4 plates on the counter balance. I love over-engineered gym equipment.

Garage screen doors are absolutely MADE for garage gyms. The best I’ve found is by a mom and pop shop out of Georgia called Lifestyle Screens. They’re made in the USA, have a door in the middle for easy entry and exit on larger models, and they come in any color you want. The biggest issue with them is they sit on a separate track from you garage door, so in the winter when your door is shut, the screen is often still hanging up above.

My dad was a powerlifter with a 750lb back squat when I was a kid. I used to go out to our third stall garage and hear Metallica cranked to 11, see chalk dust filling the air, and watch monster-sized men lift ungodly amounts of iron. My dad was larger than life. As I got older, he got smaller and weaker. But never small and never weak. Just less that his peak. However, as I've gotten older, in my view, he’s only gotten grander. He suffered for our family. He fell down many times in business, but kept getting back up. He never stopped loving my mom. He always supported me and my siblings. I know many had poor examples of fatherhood, and my dad could have said the same. But, he learned from his dad’s mistakes and gave our family an incredible life. I now carry on what he left me for my own family.

This is a perfect example of why buying cheap equipment can often end in a bad day. Every functional trainer should have the ability for the full stacks to be in use without this happening. Even without being bolted to the ground.
