One of the unique and beautiful parts of Eyo Festival culture is that whenever an Eyo’s staff (opa) drops from his hand, he must recite the Aro chant before picking it up again. It’s a deep part of the tradition that adds to the festival’s rich meaning. #EyoFestival2025
