To My amazing #BlackAmerican family, We were told to mourn a man who never mourned for us. Charles Kirk built his career on anti-Black rhetoric, and when karma hit, we were labeled hateful for not grieving. On the same day as Kirk’s rise, a white shooter targeted a Colorado school, while HBCUs faced bomb threats. Despite white-on-white crime, Black colleges were attacked, and neo-Nazis marched openly in California. Yet, Black conservatives criticized us for refusing to mourn, pointing to a double standard: White shooters are seen as mentally ill, while Black kids defending themselves are labeled thugs. White deaths are tragedies, but our grief is called hate. The truth is, compassion without accountability is complicity, and Black Americans won’t act as babysitters for white supremacy. #KushNation🔴🔱⚫️
