The Agboyi Community Secondary School is rapidly progressing, and we are getting closer to seeing this transformative project come to life! The roof column is currently being prepared, and soon, we will move to the next phase of construction. This school is more than just a building! It is a beacon of hope for the riverine Agboyi community, designed to provide quality education to our future stars. The school will feature a Modern Classrooms for a conducive learning environment; Fully Equipped Science and ICT Laboratories to drive innovation and digital literacy and a Library for research and academic excellence For too long, students in Agboyi have had to travel great distances to access quality secondary education. This school will bridge that gap, ensuring that no child is left behind due to location or accessibility challenges. Education remains a top priority for us, and we are proud to be delivering a project that will empower the next generation with knowledge and opportunities. We’ll update you every step of the way!

Today, I joined my fellow APC House of Representatives candidates across Lagos State, alongside the 3 Senatorial candidates, in a meeting with our father and leader, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Bola Ahmed Tinubu It was a moment of deep reflection on the just concluded primary elections, the journey so far, and most importantly, the bigger task ahead as we prepare for the 2027 general elections. Mr. President expressed satisfaction with the peaceful, organized and democratic conduct of the primaries across Lagos State. He commended the spirit of unity, maturity and loyalty displayed by party members and stakeholders, while also offering fatherly advice and reaffirming his unwavering support for all candidates and the party structure. We appreciated him for his leadership, guidance and consistent belief in the Lagos APC family, while assuring him of our total commitment, loyalty and solid support, just as we have always done. Asiwaju is more than a leader and more than just the President of Nigeria. He remains the blueprint of purposeful leadership, strategic governance and true democracy. Today, we extended our post-primary thank you visits to our revered GAC leader in Kosofe, Otunba Busura Alebiosu. In company of seriki muritala , the LAHA candidate for Kosofe II, the Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri, Princess Samiat Bolanle Bada, B.T.A , Aina Olayinka and the entire team, we expressed our heartfelt appreciation for the guidance, support, and leadership received throughout the journey. We also paid a visit to our apex leader in Agboyi-Ketu, Pa S.A. Oyedele, whose unwavering support and fatherly counsel remain invaluable to us all. It was indeed a joyous and fulfilling visit. We are deeply grateful for their steadfast belief in us and delighted that the aspirations of the people aligned with the emergence of their most preferred aspirants. What we continue to witness is the strength of unity, loyalty, and family within our great party, All Progressives Congress. We’ve seen a few voices like yours questioning the impact of giving 50,000 Naira per person under our WeLift Empowerment Initiative. Some say it’s too small and cannot do much in today’s economy. But here’s the truth, from the very beginning, WeLift was never a blanket scheme. It was designed as a targeted intervention, one that identifies and supports the most vulnerable residents in our community. We're not guessing! we go into the markets, into the streets, into the homes. We engage traders. We sit with the women selling herbs, groundnuts, fish, pepper. We ask: “How much do you use to run your business?” And over and over, they tell us: 20k, 30k, some not even up to 10k. So when we say we’re giving them 50,000 Naira… it's not a token, it’s a boost. You should see the joy on their faces. This is not theory. It’s real change, reaching real people. We didn’t sit in an office to decide who qualifies, we worked with CDAs, CDCs, religious leaders, community associations, people who live with and know these beneficiaries. This is community-driven social security, not guesswork. You may be privileged enough to see 50k as insignificant but please understand that to a woman who hawks for survival or a man running a tiny stall to feed his family, 50k is hope. It’s capital. It’s dignity. It’s a chance. So yes, WeLift1500 is coming! N75 million going directly into the hands of 1,500 residents. It’s part of an ongoing journey that saw over N200 million disbursed last year alone through WeLift450, WeLift400, WeLift1000, House-to-House Elderly Care, Training & Graduation Programs. Our aim is clear: put resources in the hands of the people who need it most, and in doing so, grow the local economy from the grassroots up.
