@SustainOlami @Mr_JAGs @Riddwane @Lagosreporters_ @woye1 @KOSOFEPOST Some governors didn’t even build crèches, talkless of secondary schools. Congratulations my Mayor.

Yesterday marked the end of an era. But what an unforgettable way to sign out. It wasn’t just the end of our administration, it was the final chapter of an eight-year journey written in service, sacrifice, and visible progress. We didn’t end with fanfare. We ended the way we’ve always operated: by delivering. Even on our very last day in office, we commissioned life-transforming projects across Agboyi-Ketu LCDA: -The Otunba Busura Alebiosu Multipurpose Building: an 84-room edifice with a hall, legislative chamber and registry hall marking the end of makeshift governance and the dawn of a more dignified workplace for our public servants. -The new Agboyi Primary School: a complete transformation from a dilapidated structure into a one-floor modern learning center equipped with a crèche, ICT lab, and more, right in a once-forgotten riverine community. -The Agboyi-Ketu Tech Hub: built in just four months, this innovation centre is a launchpad for dreams, digital growth, and youth development. -The HRM Oba Taiwo Adesegun Lamina Sports Complex: from flood-prone land to a 550-seater arena for sporting excellence. -4.457km of newly reconstructed roads linking Ketu, Alapere, Mile 12, and Ajelogo, improving access, safety, and livelihoods. These are more than projects. They are legacies. Eight years ago, Agboyi-Ketu was brimming with potential but in need of urgent intervention. We responded with purpose, believing that governance must be people-centered and visionary. And by the grace of God, with the support of our people, we didn’t just believe, we built. Today, Agboyi-Ketu is not just a local council, it is a reference point. From national recognitions to landmark projects, we have etched our name into the conscience of this state and country. And it’s all because we chose impact over applause, sincerity over spectacle, and purpose over position. To Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, thank you for the consistent support and belief in our work. To our team, civil servants, and tireless workers, this success is as much yours as it is mine. To my family, thank you for the sacrifices behind the scenes. And to the good people of Agboyi-Ketu, thank you for trusting me with your mandate. You gave me the opportunity to serve, and I gave it everything. As I hand over the baton to Hon. Adetola Oyedele-Abubakar, I do so with pride and full confidence. She has been part of this journey and understands both the vision and the responsibility it carries. I trust that she will take Agboyi-Ketu even further. This is not goodbye. This is a thank you. A thank you to the land that raised me. A thank you to the people that believed in me. And a thank you to God who sustained me. Let history remember that Agboyi-Ketu once had a team that came, saw, and built. That we led not for titles, but for transformation. M D O 🚀
