I could not stop laughing for real. She was asked about protests over males participating in female sports. Her response? Love. Lead with love. Share love. Support love. Love on each other. More love. ❤️ Lady, this is a professional basketball league, not a decorative throw pillow. Calling women “hateful” does not answer the question of fairness. Love is not a sports category. Compassion is not an eligibility standard. And defending female sports is not hate speech. Live. Laugh. Dodge the question. 😂

This isn’t an argument. It’s mind reading, shaming, whataboutism and social pressure. “You didn’t know who Sophie Cunningham was.” “You’re not actually a fan.” “You’re a fan of her bigotry.” “You’re not speaking up about the right issues.” “Why did you have to open your pie hole?” How about you stop telling people who they knew, what they believe, why they support someone and what they’re allowed to care about? Plenty of us knew exactly who Sophie Cunningham was. And a lot of people became fans watching her stand up for Caitlin Clark. If you disagree with Sophie’s position on protecting the female category, then answer the argument. Don’t invent everyone else’s motivations and then argue against the motivations you invented. I broke this entire clip down line by line because once you start recognizing these language patterns, they become impossible to miss.

Royce White says he identifies as a woman for the purposes of basketball and plans to declare for the WNBA draft. The response? “He’s not only bizarre, he’s transphobic.” But wait. If gender identity is internal and people are who they say they are, how does this reporter get to decide Royce White’s identity isn’t legitimate? A butch lesbian being mistaken for a man does not prove that men belong in women’s bathrooms. It proves that women do not have to look feminine to be women. She thought this argument destroyed sex-based boundaries. It actually proved exactly why we need them. Appearance is not sex. Clothing is not sex. Identity is not sex. Masculine women are still women. Males are still male. Watch her entire argument collapse under its own logic.

They do it every single time. The debate starts with a policy: Sports. Prisons. Changing rooms. Data collection. Safeguarding. Sex-based rights. And then suddenly we’re no longer talking about the policy. We’re told we’re debating someone’s existence. No. We’re debating a policy. We’re debating rules. We’re debating competing rights and competing interests. Changing the subject from policy to existence is one of the most effective rhetorical tricks in this entire debate because it instantly turns disagreement into cruelty. The moment someone says: “Why are you debating my existence?” Stop them. Bring it right back. “No. We’re debating a policy.” Again. And again. And again. Because if they can convince people that policy disagreement equals denying someone’s existence, they’ve already won the argument without having to defend the policy. Who’s willing to start calling this out? Not next year. Not when it’s convenient. Now. Every time it happens. “No. That’s not what we’re debating.” Watch how often the conversation changes the moment you refuse to let them switch the subject.
